How is it a council screw up? It’s the clubs repsoability to apply for planning permission not the council
its rovers and their joke of a boards fault no one else
The council is at fault for allowing a change of use on the men to non sport.

They won't have to take them down as I understand a storm's due to blow through at the weekend and will do the job for them......
With bonfire night not far away im sure a gallon of BPs finest will work wonders, mind you i wouldn't recommend this as it will only play into wallys' hand and improve the value of the mem by several million.

0-0 against 10 men for half the match! Gonna be a Long journey from Spotland to Grotland tonight after that for the travelling masses!
For the travelling gashead I guess from spotland to grotland in every aspect it's downhill all the way.

Heres an idea, as they have a pop up temporary ground that could be put on the back of a couple of lorries why don't they tour the country like a travelling circus, just rack up at some park or field, play a game and move on to the next park. They know that their fans will turn up in their thousands wherever they are playing and would only upset the locals for one afternoon.
Come on it's bad enough having the roads clogged with caravans in the summer.

I have Huntingtons now but before I used to be a floor layer. We used to take tiles up that had it in them. I was working with asbestos as recently as 2012. People I’ve worked with has died because of the cancer. What I’m getting at is someone’s so ******* stupid to declare it safe in 2018 is deplorable.
I agree with you 100% it is deplorable, but not to wish death on someone because of their inablity to see the facts before making a statement on the propertie and effects of a substance that they clearly dont understand.

President dump just declared it 100 % safe. Moron, would love for someone to make a some clothes made of it so he could die a painful death
Really, ever checked the mirror?
what an idiotic statement, if you'd ever seen anyone die of abestosis you wouldn't say that.

Won't happen, buy the club just for the wally to recoup his families money, selling the ground doubt they would break even, buy some land build a new ground got to be talking at least 30mil for a basic identikit stadium, that's before any investment in the squad, unless someone has a passion for the team I doubt very much it will happen.
More likely someone buys wally out, more promises not kept, ground sold, pack yer bags gasheads the downs await your relocation.
HAPPY DAYS.

I think you’ll find the Rovers fans would stay for the Fizz concert
If only to listen to “The Land Of Make Believe”....
Im sure that a certain Weezord would leave once they start to belt out thier Eurovision winning song.

If they ever go into administration they’ll magically never mention 1982 ever again - ironically they’d survive using the same procedure we set a precedence for many other clubs to follow.
Just like they used to go on "well at least we haven't been in the bottom division", funnily enough we never seem to hear that anymore.

Will he be man enough to face up and apologise. I doubt it. Rovers fans should be ashamed of him and out him now. That's so many levels below banter. What a lowlife. Wonder what his parents think of him.
The thing is once it's out in the internet it just doesn't disappear, this could come back to haunt him one day especially when applying for certain jobs/positions, silly boy.

Perhaps the reason for playing the chair to make him less lonely sat in the stand because your average qpr fan saw this game as a dead rubber and stayed at home, unlike rovers row M chairs who are currently sat in a darkened warehouse belonging to B&Q.

Based on some of the optomistic comments on the Rovers forum, I think many of their supporters are on the magic mushrooms
Kept in the dark and feed shit, trust me gasheads are the mushrooms.

Or you end up with some idiot ringing Geoff twentyman about how they hitched a lift all the way to some foresaken desert across the pond, only to find all the horses had left town and no one has a clue of some new Pheonix Rovers football club.

They won't protest, they love to bury their heads in the sand. Historically they lap up all the lies they are fed by board members and hope for the best.
If this chaos was at AG, people would be strung up.
They have always been the same, says it all when only just over 3000 showed up for their last ever game at Eastville, had the original stadium plans gone through and we relocated to over the road I believe Ashton Gate would of been packed for it's last ever game.

I hope that wally is there to finish the job, would be great to see them finally relocated to a new home, and a new home where they can catagorically state that they are the richest club.
To play in the Downs League.

Whenever someone is falling they have to hit rock bottom sooner or later, bet he didn't expect to be this soon though!

Make the offer? Or complain?
There was definitely no offer, maybe a proposal by a councillor.
There was definitely, a winding up order because of the council rates owed.
Don't think it was a confirmed offer, but it was being discussed according to a long past on friend who was a former chairman of the supporters club, there were also many letters in the Evening Post/ Western Daily Press complaining that if the City got help then so should the gas get the same.
