    1. Anyone can make a “claim”. I could make a serious allegation about you.  That allegation however needs to come from the alleged victim in way of a written statement for it to be worthy of an investigation.

    2. The police do have a duty, yes, but they also have procedure to follow. My belief is, it isn’t. See my post to Julie for those reasons.

    3. There needs to be evidence or witness testimony to prosecute.

This is the bit i find incredible,  for a so say law professional it's incredibly naive, so small child, someone with severe learning difficulties or someone with a conditions whereby they might not even realise they were the subject of abuse has to write a statement before the authorities will act on it!

Not being one that has much use of a law professional is there any chance of the name of the firm you work for?

Don't worry I wont be using your so called expertise any time soon,  just so that if the time arosewhereby i need some advice I wouldn't be employing some cowboy to protect my interest.

  2. Gashead1981 I would'nt botther getting offended when being called an idiot, afterall at least you get the chance to air you oppinion on our forum, whereas the opposite cannot be said of a forum where such allegations have been gleefully discussed without any proof or debate from those that are being castigated as the villians.

But hey as Hugo says anyone is welcome!

To think of the amount of times their fans have cried foul when banned for flaming on this forum after having the chance to post their thoughts in a reasonable manner, while on the other hand that option is not forth coming, yet everyone is welcome to join the forum, yeah right, as long as they only say nice thing about how wonderful BRFC are.

like to dish it out but can't take it.

Reading that has affirmed why in IMO The quicker that club goes under the better.

I laughed so much when people made some caustic but very funny comments when rovers commercial manager had a suggestion box installed.

    Bloody funny.

The rest of the whole thread is puerile infantile rubbish written by humourless boring people devoid of any intelligence.

Mediocre championship club who have won sweet fa derides mediocre league one club who have won sweet fa.

    What a joke!!

Lets just say stuff and pretend its funny ha ha ha

I would imagine most football forums throughout the world besides talking about all aspects of the game have a large percentage of banter/ribbing about so called rivals, now instead of having multiple threads clogging the forum we have just the one, that works absolutely fine for the majority, they get it.

This is not a forum for lovers Croquet who will sit there likes it's 1920 and shout jolly good show old chap, although I'm sure there must be one out there somewhere if that floats your boat!

If the subject does not interest you dont read it, what is so hard to understand!

    Welcome to the year 1995..!

Ahhh, but here's  the catch, potatoes with the added bonus of being grown on the minimal pitch will be £5.

I'm glad you said that and not me, although I was thinking the same when I saw the twitter team photo in Vegas.

Still it is funny so called 'professional footballers' begging for drinks, methinks Sinclair has too much influence.

Would imagine the Bear Pit being more their type of venue,  special brew all round!

Obviously the fact the sags are owned by a Jordanian based family with the parent company registered in jersey has completely passed poor old mancgas by!!

No no you have that wrong, it's a different Jersey, their "Jersey" is just off of Horfield common.

Tbh it's an easy mistake to make considering the majority their fan base get them selves lost on their way to away matches, clearly geography isn't high on your average gasheads academic aspirations.

We did: had him on loan, to be fair, but we'd have likely had the opportunity to sign him if we'd wanted. However, I think that the decision was more about attitude than ability.

From what remember it was his decision to leave, John Ward dropped him for the next match after scoring at Oldham, he threw a hissy fit and disappeared off to grenada i believe!

Someone mentioned to me the other day that Mansfield would have forfeited the match if Rovers hadn't found kit for them.

    Wonder if that's true.

No a cat in hells chance, imagine the uproar another club being relegated because another team at another game conceding the match to a relegation rival, also imagine Mansfield would of been in deep trouble with the FA, I believe there are strict rules regarding timing etc of the last match of the season!

My goodness, how decent is that.. ?

That would hold its own with the Christmas videos.

My Rovers have become professional organisation, this is amazing stuff. We are on the move.

This is what happens when you have professional people running the club.

The corner shop mentality has finally gone

(although the usual suspects will no doubt argue that the cost of the video should have been spent on a centre forward)

The above was obviously posted on Asschat before he popped to Spec Savers, otherwise he would of surely realised he had missed out on getting his season ticket for a few groats and a couple of rabbits cheaper.

Btw did they have Spec Savers in 1018?

  11. Prowed history they say!,

    Ok lets tot it up.

they've won, ummm, ahhh ,  ooohh , ummm hang on it's coming, ahhh, ummm, no no scratching my head still, ummm ah ha got it,    They have absolutely nothing worthwhile talking about.

Tbh it would not surprise me if you divided any so called achievements by the amount of years they have been in the football league in total, that they are one of the least successful club in it!

  12. Just a bunch of ass carrots going nowhere, if we were to ever play them in the near future it would because of our failure not their success,  then again isn't that what they feel is more important in the grand scheme of things, going by gasheads I know you would think so.

The thing is you can't knock what City are doing at the moment but that doesn't stop me from wanting it to stop!

Currently we are light years apart and that doesn't look like changing any time soon, but things do change and in football it can happen quite quickly. A year ago Lansdown and Johnson in particular were getting some horrific stick and the prospect of us facing each other again in league competition looked odds on, a year on and it looks as far away as ever.

I'm 53 next week, and at the moment, I'd take just beating you once more in my lifetime.

Respect, you say it like it is, as always and with none of the nastiness like on gaschat that some spout over there.

Btw have you thought of cryogenics, I'm 53 also and would certainly be looking towards that option if I have had to put up with some of the dross you have had to put up with both on and off the field!

It will be 4-0 to Man Utd. Plastic supporters will be jumping up to celebrate all round Trashton Gate. All the Ted's will be totally deflated and we can seize our chance to completely take the piss out of the lady

Ah yes, take the piss all you like sat from your lofty position of 16th in league one with the most goals conceded, thrashed by a team who have only won once at home previously, still it's a chance to put a smile on your face after all one can guarantee it wont be long before your club gives us all another laugh, it's what your club does best.

  15. When wally gave a reply regard playing budgets the interviewer gives a chuckle almost sounding embarrassed as if he felt the answer was nothing but guff!

Also Wally stating that FFP was a hurdle surley has to be more guff, i dont know the in and outs but with what they've spent since he has been there they must have plenty of leeway in that regards.

Sounds as though the guy has nothing to offer in information or financial clout.

Pointless interview, just going through the motions IMO.

Let's be honest here, this place would be a vast improvement on any place the gas have managed to squat in, also they would have the advantage of it being fire proof, mind you saying that, with their history of attacking four legged animals I would keep the camels out of sight.
