They will end up with a couple of loans. Bodin will leave. Clarke will still be bumming the supporters. Then they will get relegated. Tick tock
Substitute relegate for go into liquidation.

I'm fairly certain they have had it chaps.
From the latest noises emanating from Chernobyl, it appears to be a fire sale and if a buyer cannot be found very quickly then all subsequent options will v bad news for the Blue Few.
I genuinely believe that within 12-24 months they will end up 'back where they belong' - ground sharing with Bath City in L2.
Obv we are going to laugh long and hard in the short term, but celebrating the financial demise of any football club (even them!) leaves a bit of a nasty taste.
For the avoidance of doubt, I'm not suggesting we give them any 'help' (we all remember '82 etc) but should we really 'gloat' if / when the brown stuff finally hits the fan.......
YES.
Actually its, Oh Yes.

Hopefully Cardiff will open up now and we can exploit it.

Just think of all that lovely lucre they'll make from this cup run, to be told they can spend it all on transfers in January, they must be in dream land! Oh wait, a tin of chum it is Daryll.
Happy days.

Aren't they the only team in history to have been knocked out of the league cup in the preliminary round?

Actually, I will leave this excerpt from an article on another thread about City's lightening relegation from 1st to 4th......
The departure of the Ashton Gate Eight didn’t bring with it an end to the problems faced by the club. A selling ban was put in place, and with debts and salary bills still high, an opportunistic offer was made by Martin Flook and Barry Bradshaw, the chairman and vice-chairman of Bristol Rovers, to purchase Ashton Gate for £450,000. The spectre of Bristol becoming a one-club city was averted, however. A share issue scheme failing to provoke local interest didn’t help the club in their battle to ward off their rivals’ advances.
Just let that sink in for all of those fair weather supporters who don't mind the squatters......
Exactly, unfortunately some just dont get it, this was just not a club standing by and watching another nearly go under, oh no these ******* were ready to hold our head under the water too!

Thought that said Gas spastic
And that is funny!
You do realise that spastic is a term so often used (incorrectly) in the past to put down/belittle someone who is disabled or of limited cognitive ability, spastic is relative to muscle, nothing to do with mental ability, then again I wouldn't expect you to know that afterall this isn't the first time you have used a term that is insulting to those less able as a put down to gas heads!

Wael al Qadi = Michael Knighton
Both tried to buy bigger clubs than the tin pot outfits they ended up with.

We truly are kindred spirits.... maybe some of those who have no wish to see them crumble to dust and blow away, weren't around in 82, when we thought we were losing our club, when there were collections on paydays ( Thursdays, as we were all mostly weekly paid back then) in pubs to raise funds, when people bought shares and rallied round.
Whilst the vitriolic glee that those bastards showed, they circled like vultures, just waiting to feast on the carcass, they can **** off and die and the sooner the better. Detest isn't a strong enough word to help express my contempt for them.
Exactly, the letters in the Evening Post bemoaning the the fact that BCC were comtemplating loaning BCFC £50k in order to save the club from winding up, then BRFC stating that if BCFC were to get money then so should they, Martin Flook and The Boycee lookalike circling and praying for BCFCs' final breath, so they could get their hands on a real stadium.
All they have ever been is a club who wants everything everyone else has, but wants everyone else to pay for it.
**** em.

I would be happy with a darlington scenario, only difference being Darlington did actually get a stadium built.

Just going down Gloucester rd . There seems to be some clowns and people in fancy dress . Any idea to what's going on
It's to celebrate playing a match equivalent of a cup final, just ignore it, after all any game in league one is a cup final for them.

Not interested but your posting within a minute of my post! Although being near you is somewhat different than being miles away which could well now happen, in my view Bristol would be an even more boring CIty without the football rivalry.
After what your directors and fans have done over the years i'd be more than happy to never play you again, to see you go bust would be more enjoyable, the only downside being is it would cost an arm and a leg throwing the party.

I think you will find he was using net spend, which kind of makes sense considering they sold their star player to us for £10M or there abouts.
