  1. I know you're kidding but he is indeed taking on much of the role Nigel played.
  2. Moving forward it seems Tinnion will assume responsibility for our style of play, recruitment/retention, culture of the club and our new HC will be responsible for preparing the players for matches and the technical area on matchdays. It seems that Tinnion will be assuming much of what Nigel did and is our defacto new manager.
  3. My guess would be Clayton Fortune.
  4. I pasted the whole article into an AI chat bot and asked for a summary, here's what it spat out: Ashton Gate development: The author acknowledges the investment of Mr Lansdown, the owner of the club, in creating a new stadium and a new training facility for the club. The author says these were necessary to improve the facilities and income of the club, but also create some risks for the future. The author also expresses regret that the Ashton Vale site was not available for the club. Footballing strategy: The author criticizes the lack of a clear and consistent footballing strategy at the club to make it a sustainable Premier League club. The author contrasts the successful promotions under Steve C and Gary Johnson, who had a clear playing style and recruited players to match it, with the confused and contradictory approach of the club in recent years. The author says the club has failed to develop a pathway of youth development and has wasted money on buying players for instant success. The author points out that other clubs with less resources have managed to reach and stay in the Premier League. The author questions what is the underlying strategy of Mr Lansdown to change the perception of the club. Detachment and dishonesty: The author expresses their frustration and disappointment at the actions of Bristol City. The author says there has been an increasing level of detachment from the management of the club and the fan base. The author also accuses the club of making dubious and false statements, such as lying about the recruitment process and the appointment of the new coaches. Dean Holden’s appointment: The author criticizes the appointment of Dean Holden as the new head coach, saying he has no management experience or reputation, and was part of the previous team’s failure. The author says he would not be hired by any other club at this level. The author contrasts his appointment with Mr Lansdown’s interview on Talksport, where he said he wanted to bring in fresh ideas and take the club to another level. Pat Lam’s example: The author points out the contrast between the football club and the rugby club, which are both part of Bristol Sport. The author praises Pat Lam, the rugby club’s director of rugby, who has defined his objectives and created a world-class coaching team and setup to match his playing style. The author says this is exactly what the football club is missing and why they feel disconnected from it. Walking away: The author concludes by saying that they find it very hard to support Bristol City Football Club anymore. The author says they do not recognise the club, they do not know what they are trying to achieve, and they do not understand how so much money could be spent badly. The author says they do not want to waste their energy and time following something that has lost its soul and connection for them. The author says they are walking away from the club, and wish everyone else a successful season.
  5. It's fine, the Club's Hierarchy have voted now.
  6. "Not only will Nigel buy into the club's philosophy, he created it!"
  7. Harry, have you not watched Tins' interview? Recruitment isn't necessary when whenever you need a player, there will be someone in the Academy who has been playing "our way" for 3 years already. It's genius and definitely not gonna fail.
  8. Whenever you visit a website, your device leaves a calling card. Normally no one even glances at it but with banned users returning it’s a great aspect of the internet.
  9. If Eustace gets the job, please can someone give him the heads up to praise our Glorious Leader for his generosity in every interview if he has any hope of seeing out his contract. Doesn’t need to mean it, just utter the damn words.
  10. That account won’t be posting again so no need. Keep on the lookout for a new one tomorrow though
  11. It’s my new hobby. I’ve only banned one person this year, but I’ve banned that person about eleventy billion times. It’s as much fun for me as it is him registering new email accounts.
  12. But you are Dog, with the 4th account this week.
  13. They have to be, it’s part of the job description as per Tins’ interview today. I can’t bring myself to watch it again to transcribe so I’ll paraphrase, “We will have one way of playing throughout the club and when the first team need a player we’ll have one who’s been playing that way for 3 years in the Academy”. Also worth noting that the RHPC is “second to none”, take that Man City! What’s the point in getting a capable tactician in as HC? He has to play the Bristol City tactics (and team selections must be approved at board level). Effectively Tinnion is our new manager and we are just interviewing for someone to do the boring drills on the training field. Conway will be sold this Summer when he has 12 months remaining on his deal. Having seen his best mate leave and start to excel in the PL and the manager he loved treated how he was treated he’ll be off as soon as he can. And his replacement will be Yeboah.
  14. @BS_Bots assemble!!! No-one has yet voted for promotion!
  15. To be fair, a vocal minority can often give the wrong impression. On the Poll of whether Pearson should get a new contract less than 4% have voted no but posts arguing that he shouldn't were in the range 15-20%.
  16. Sounds like Tinnion fancies himself as a Backseat Manager.
  17. Any prospective new coach with his own ideas about footballing philosophy needs to leave them parked at the door and dance to the Lansdowns' tune, because if anyone knows how to get to the PL it's them right? Also, prior to announcing your team to the players, please submit it to Brian for approval. On recruitment, when we sell your star player, you need not worry about signing a replacement, we'll have one ready for you from the Academy cos they'll have been "playing this way for 3 years". I feel excited, PL here we come!
  18. Well those two interviews went down like a sack of shit. Who else wants a try?
  19. If you go to the offices at AG, OTIB is open on a tab on all the computers. We even did some market research for them and showed them that 98% of respondents wanted Nige to have a contract extension. They simply did not like Nige speaking truth to power and got rid.
  20. You know when your mate is going through some tough times and you affect your voice to show compassion? That was the interviewer.
  21. He’d be no good here, we don’t have the resources to Tinker.
  22. SOTC was hardly gonna be the most daunting of interrogations with Ed "we can't criticise the Lansdowns" Hadwin at the helm. And yet they still bottled it. Get out of our club ffs.
