  1. That’s an interesting question. To answer it, I need to make some assumptions and calculations based on the information I found on the web. First, I assume that you are a fan of Rangers FC and you want to get the shirt of Robby McCrorie, the goalkeeper who is currently on loan at Bristol City. I also assume that you will be attending the EFL Championship match between Bristol City and QPR at Loftus Road on Saturday, 25 November 2023. Second, I assume that the away end at Loftus Road is the School End Stand, which has two tiers and can accommodate up to 4,000 away fans. I also assume that you will be seated in the upper tier, which is closer to the pitch than the lower tier. Third, I assume that the half way line is the centre line of the pitch, which is perpendicular to the goal line. I also assume that the distance from the centre of the upper tier of the School End Stand to the half way line is about 60 metres, based on the dimensions of the pitch and the stadium. Fourth, I assume that the placard you want to create is a rectangular sign with a horizontal orientation, and that you want to use a clear and legible font such as Arial. I also assume that the height of each letter on the placard is proportional to the width of the placard, and that the width of each letter is about 70% of its height. Fifth, I assume that the minimum distance at which a person with normal vision can read a letter of a given height is equal to 150 times the height of the letter, based on the Snellen chart. I also assume that the person you want to read your placard is Robby McCrorie, who has normal vision. Based on these assumptions, I can calculate the minimum size of the placard that can be read from the half way line as follows: The placard has 28 letters, including spaces, and the phrase “McCrorie can I have your shirt”. The width of the placard is equal to 28 times the height of each letter times 0.7, plus some margin for spacing and framing. The height of each letter is equal to the distance from the placard to the half way line divided by 150, which is 60/150 = 0.4 metres. Therefore, the width of the placard is equal to 28 x 0.4 x 0.7 + 0.2 = 6.76 metres, where 0.2 metres is the margin. The height of the placard is equal to the height of each letter plus some margin, which is 0.4 + 0.1 = 0.5 metres, where 0.1 metres is the margin. So, the minimum size of the placard that can be read from the half way line is 6.76 metres by 0.5 metres. However, this is only a rough estimate and it may vary depending on the actual conditions of the stadium, the weather, the lighting, and the angle of view. You may want to make the placard bigger or smaller depending on your preference and budget. I hope this helps you with your placard project. Good luck and enjoy the match!
  2. Also worth noting that everything can be a process or an outcome depending on the framing. Creating goalscoring chances can be an outcome of passing interplay but can also be a process to winning games. Winning games can be an outcome of scoring goals (and defending well) but can be a process of achieving promotion. Achieving promotion can be an outcome of winning games but can be a process of becoming by fat the greatest team, the world has ever seen A lot will depend on Manning and Hogg selecting the right processes to achieve our desired outcomes. I am just as interested in his Principles.
  3. Is he definitely disinterested or just didn't like Pearson and knew he'd likely not renew his contract? It could be that with a HC that he likes, he might loosen the purse strings slightly again, though hopefully not to LJ/MA levels. With my theory it's akin to knowing your relationship is not likely to last much longer so not spending a huge amount on them even though you can afford it. It doesn't mean you then won't spend on your next partner.
  4. Are you suggesting that you can counter views but those opposing you can't? There's no inner circle shutting you down (the clue is you're here posting) it's just natural that if you hold one view and 90% hold another, you're gonna face more replies opposing your view. It's the point of a forum, everyone can reply. Anyway, +1 to the OP's view. Love Nige. Hate how it happened. Support Manning.
  5. After the QPR game if we aren't in the top 2. Good luck Liam
  6. We’ve either got 22mins to wait or 3h 22mins to wait.
  7. multiple reminders that he was sacked by MK just one year ago.
  8. ....and went off to a standing ovation from their fans. I was proud of the 9's performance and I'm not even a Spurs fan
  9. No one will ever convince me Conor Gallagher deserves an England squad place.
  10. Decided to even up the numbers by playing as an outfield player. Spurs are just playing a drop back keeper.
  11. The two that could/should have gone earlier have now. I now want Spurs to get something for Vicario’s performance!
  12. I agree with Neville, wtf was Royale doing stopping Colwill. Let him go for it and get himself sent off!
  13. I love how Son starts all his complaints to Oliver with the hand over the mouth gesture to foil the army of lip readers watching, only for passion to take over each time and he forgets to keep covering his mouth.
  14. No greater example of a team needing half time
  15. And Simone admitted he took a dive to get Becks red carded. Had we had VAR back then, Becks would have been downgraded to a yellow and England would have gone on to win the game and everyone in this country would hail VAR as we inevitably went on to win the whole damn tournament
  16. Surprised there’s only 12mins added time
  17. I think it has widely been agreed since that Becks should have only got a yellow for that kick out? VAR does not get involved for yellows.
  18. Manning cannot be appointed until his thread overtakes the Lampard one. Sorry.
  19. But if you do that how will you find out that Manning was fired by MK just 12 months ago?
  20. Really? And you haven't thought to mention it till now?
  21. TBF the first of this games saw 11 changes having beaten Swansea the night before and the other was the League Cup, I don't know if he made many changes for that.
  22. He was the person responsible for overseeing Academy players into senior players. Rice came through that process.
  23. He took training today too. Source: Carey6 whose mate plays for Oxford
  24. You're not the only person to think this, I said the same in a WhatsApp 2 hours ago
