Yep, I went over to read about how we are a terrible footballing side on Pasoti ?

In this analogy wouldn't having a COO be akin to having a Head Coach in place of a Manager? I note that people with better knowledge than me say it costs too much in non-playing staff costs to generate each £. With many of the day to day decisions of a normal football club falling to Bristol Sport (see latest answers to the SC&T meeting with City officials), I'm optimistic that this could actually work for us as a cost cutting measure without seeing much difference off-the-pitch.

I use the "Work" skin which explains my being here

Make this post into a register, here sir!

Seems some can get in still. I was just finding it incredible that there had been 4 posts/replie by 1.30pm I'd put it down to us having little to moan about but makes sense if there's internet issues out there.

Nige confirms it was a club decision, not PA’s

Last season it started to fall apart when injuries started piling up, this season it seems to be in spite of a fair number of injuries and we hopefully have players returning in the coming weeks. Imagine what our options will look like with Atkinson, Weimann and Conway back -

If we keep this up, Nige might be allowed some of the Nest Egg in January ? -
Unless they try to be more like Bristol City ?

Stabbed in the back after falling whilst running away. Doesn't sound like hooligans engaging in a bit of consensual fighting and more like attempted murder.

You do them a disservice. I’m pretty sure they’d have pitched a tent on the park end.

Finally a bit of praise from a member of the club’s hierarchy, after he has left the role! ??

Was worse when he looked at the reactions and found Maggie liking Fevs’ posts ?

Depends. Firstly on the on-field decision of the referee. If we were playing Man City, Liverpool or Arsenal, and the penalty hadn't been awarded, for sure, VAR would tell the ref to review and the ref would be a good little soldier and award them a retrospective penalty. If we were playing Burnley, Luton or Sheffield United, VAR would back the ref's decision and not ask him to review. In all cases, had the ref awarded it, VAR would not have contested it. I was listening to their commentary and they were worried that Molumby, who had committed to definite yellow card offences during that passage of play, might actually be carded for both when the ball went dead. They theorised that play went on so long, the referee forgot. ?

So if we change this club policy our players will be allowed to score as freely as they do away from home?

Then Nais puts in a similarly great one in the dying embers.

It was another brilliant tackle by us. If he'd given that as a pen there would have been uproar. -

Live I thought it was a blatant throw by Yeboah but watching the replay the defender actually does more than Ephraim! Then collapses. -

Tbf, it's not like he hit it straight at the keeper, Palmer spread himself and got something on it, it's the reason the xG for that sort of shot is around 0.2-0.3 not closer to 1, they often do get saved. -

Was rumours of us having an interest this summer too but the wage budget wasn't there for it. -

And the arrogance starting to seep out of their pessimistic commentators "what a goal this is gonna be" ? -

Our front three are terrorising their defence with their movement but I'm struggling to think of a clear chance you'd hope to score, even the shot at an open goal from Sykes was at an acute angle to his direction of travel. -

No chance of a pen as he slid alongside Asante rather than through him. Great defending Zac.
