He remembered what he’d said and called a Swans FK softer than that. I think he just likes a bit of contact to be let go. -

I’m watching the Swans’ coverage and this must be the fairest club commentator Ive ever listened to. -

Can we score 3 non-disallowed goals this half? -

I can’t remember Bell playing better than this. His teammates owe him an assist ? -
If your arm is in a natural position and the ball hits it, it is only handball if your shirt has a Bristol City badge (or splat robin image) on it.

Glad we are both on the same page.

Bristol City developing a £25m nest egg must be up there?
-
Because the people setting the budgets had no inkling they were also negotiating a improved contract for Zac?
-
It won’t be totally accurate due to diversity of investments but SL is worth $1.2b less than his business partner. Broadly that is down to selling stock to invest in Bristol Sport ?
-
They’ll have presumably budgeted for any contract extensions they’ve been negotiating. Unless totally incompetent. So, in conclusion, who knows? ?

In my opinion that attractiveness does exist and comes from a profitable year giving any prospective new owners more room to spend as they see fit over the remaining two years of an FFP reporting period. Unfortunately we provide balance by asking any new owner to additionally buy a rugby club, a basketball club and two building plots. ??

The other thing I found amusing from the press conference: NP: “I won’t go into details about Ross as medical records should be confidential” Also Nige: goes into great detail about exactly what is the issue with Andi’s heel

Conway £25m - August ‘24 Bell £25m - August ‘25 …..each time replacing their wages with a young prospect from League One, sorted. (We won’t be able to afford established League One players as the average salary at that level is £6k per week)

I’m convinced we will be sporting a black away kit so we can chant about our new financial identity “we’re in the black!” -
Yes but a) he’s on standby not in the squad & b) Alex would very likely have made this squad if he had stayed fit.

To be fair, we spent the Summer demonstrating how we would walk League 1 ?

I’m sure @Davefevswill have the numbers ?

Careful there Mr P, you’ll have people saying we can’t have a 45 man squad again. I would like to be able to name a full side 6 games into the season though. 5 injuries and we find ourselves 2 short. What was the most concurrent injuries we had in 22/23?

Make a list of all the people in the world who want to buy a football club (not literally, just imagine). Now make a list of all the people in the world who want to buy a football club, a rugby club, a basketball club, a plot of land to build a hotel/arena and a plot of land to build a housing development. SL has made this unnecessarily more difficult.

Years ago, in the early days of the internet we had a mailing list called City List where one of the fans went on to become pretty big in F1. Surely he has the contacts from years of being shoulder to shoulder with Team Owners and Sponsors to make something happen?
-
We need to be careful or we’ll be trying to flog him next ? Awesome achievement though, I hope he makes it to a squad soon, the experience will be great for him and potentially us ?️

To be fair we don’t need to. The Scott fee will be in instalments. Let’s say the rumours were right that we wanted £10m up front, it could be that next season the instalment is £5m, leaving us needing to sell someone (or more than one) with up front payments amounting to the other £5m. Conway immediately springs to mind. Then the problem comes that we will need to find a replacement on £5k per week or less as we are at our wage budget maximum. Maybe we can strike it lucky and Yeboah can be that replacement.
