  1. Cardinal sin..., passing across your own penalty box.
  2. It's a bus shelter...or rather 4 bus shelters bolted together.
  3. Can any football fan not have heard of the 1923 final and the white horse clearing the pitch. Football fans behaviour can sometimes be unruly these days ...but in 1923 300,000 fans turned up, ripped down fences, and gained entry. The official (paying customers) attendance was 126,000. But an estimated 180,000 entered without paying!!
  4. You know Everton, and whoever else comes down will be on every week.
  5. Yes that's right March 2010, last competitive game. We played a pre season friendly down there last July as well.
  6. One of the most embarrassing photographs I've ever seen. FTG.
  7. Oh dear, watching Luton v Boro......the Luton player is running onto a through ball, keeper comes out and makes no contact at all with the Luton player who simply stumbled to the ground and the ref gives.....a penalty. Luton player clearly goes down without any contract whatsoever. Var would instantly overrule that decision .
  8. Shouldn't those helmets be wearing .............helmets?
  9. How is that ex-gashead pikey Welshman in there
  10. 'Small transistor radios 'is the correct term in 2023 ?
  11. The trouble with Robbored is he : Can't Understand Normal Thinking
  12. Spurs certainly out of their depth this afternoon,
  13. It was the right decision. LJ has been a manager of 5 clubs, over 10 years, covering nearly 500 games......and has just 1 Papa John's Pizza Trophy ? on his CV . He wasn't taking us anywhere.
  14. Spot on, Northern Irish clubs, Scottish clubs, play in their own countries leagues. #### the Welsh !
  15. It's going to be a 40,000 seater stadium with unparalleled conferencing facilities right in the centre of Bristol that will blow " Trashton" out of the water and enable them to reach the Premier League within 5 years.......and all paid for by the developer in exchange for the mem. I mean what developer would pass up the opportunity to grab the mem site valued at £20m, and only have to spend north of £60m to build this premier ready facility in exchange............. it's a no brainer innit? What a time to be alive for Gasheads!
  16. They're all lapping Wael up on their forums..... Sample post: "Yes good stuff from Wael tonight, all very positive on and off the field. What a bloke. And a gent too He is very switched on. U p the Gas, and Up the Wael" Deluded as usual
  17. Plymouth have 3 home games in a row now v Cambridge, Gas, and Burton . It's theirs to lose now .
  18. Indeed,. Plymouth by contrast have Shrewsbury away followed by 3 home games against Cambridge, Gas, and Burton ending with a trip to Port Vale. Now top 2 points clear of Wednesday and 4 points clear of Ipswich ........ I can't see them slipping up now.
  19. Every time a Scottish player is linked I get an image of Lee Miller missing the open goal header right in front of me on the Stratton Bank - I'll need a couple of hours and a few beers before I can shake that off ?
  20. Got to be Gerry Gow. Alan Dicks told of an incident in the famous cup win at Leeds when he heard Don Revie on the bench shouting " the number 6 the number 6!" to Billy Bremner to order Bremner to "do" Gerry, a few minutes later AD said Bremner went in for a 50/50 with Gerry with his foot high and studs showing...........only to find out that Gerry had his foot even higher and caught Bremner first and put him on his arse, Johnny Giles rushed over to remonstrate and Gow went face to face with him too. Reputation counted for nothing.
  21. As a local like me you will know that Wickwar just up the road once had 13 pubs ( only one now) and was known as a village "of great drunkenness '. As I drive through I can spot about 5 buildings that were once pubs....the rest must have just been a barrel in someone's front room.
  22. It has to be Notts County,. one of the 12 founders of the Football League, a Division One club between the wars, always a Division 2 (Championship) club in the 60's when I started supporting City.
  23. Surely she'd be happy with a Clarks pie and a can on the natch wall?
