Looking forward to revisiting this thread after a disappointing 1-1 draw this afternoon.

This thread and others are utterly laughable.

Beating decent teams on the counter which we've done for the past three years is no evidence we can break down shit teams, which we haven't done for three years

To compensate for this Berwick Rangers compete in the Scottish system. Berwick, is a town and civil parish in Northumberland, England, 2+1⁄2 mi (4 km) south of the Anglo-Scottish border.

Berwick would add nothing to the English leagues, whereas Cardiff, Swansea, Newport and Wrexham would add loads to the Welsh.

Don't think Wrexham would be so famous though

Why are you relying upon others to progress your argument? Please tell me the maximum amount of points each team can get considering lots all have to play each other?

Not every team can get maximum points. Its impossible. I thought you would know that. If we win all of our games, West Brom, Sunderland, Norwich can't. So thats minus 3 from their maximum total. When they play each other then more points will be dropped. Basic maths mate

IN MY OPINION it is in our own hands. So it doesn't matter if you tell me its not, or if someone else does, my opinion doesn't change.

Why are you trying to plant seeds? Very strange. Here's me being positive and you're trying to scold that and frame it as some agenda. Bizarre.

You are free to go back and check my posting history where I said in the summer my expectations were top 10 with us having a chance of play offs in the final games. It would be rather bizarre for me to berate us for achieving my expectations don't you think?

If you don't think we can get around 30 points, fair enough. However I do.

Hey WSM, I am a big fan of most of your posts. You are barking up the wrong tree here though bud.

It's mathematically most definitely not in our hands.

To be fair, it’s the first time this season we’ve had a strong bench.
As such, our 5 subs can maintain the standard of our starting 11.

5 players make up 45.45% of the team so we can expect to do 45.45% better.

45.45% better than 1.375 points per game is 2 ppg.

    2 ppg is 28 points.

So we are simply theorising that we outperform this by 2 points.

    Drink the Kool Aid!

5 subs are on the pitch an average of 20 mins at best

    So you'd need to divide 45.45% by 20 over 90 👍

  5. I agree we need 27/28 points or similar and it's incredibly unlikely

We but have to play to win , forget the draws as they won't do anything for us coming from this far behind.

9 wins from 14 seems impossible. But taking a game or two at a time if just for once we win the next two games that we should on paper (QPR / Sheff Wed). 7 wins from 12 then looks something more achieveable if still very unlikely

You could argue on tonight’s performance and the players you and Shelts mentioned that you don’t need Twine / no10.

I honestly don’t think Twine could do what Knight did tonight with Conway in leading the press / block.

I agree with this against Southamptton and would always start Knight against better teams.

If you come back and say something similar against QPR, Sheff Wed etc etc , teams we should be creating chances against then we will most definitely be in the play off race. Won't hold my breath though.
