Those prices are no different to ours
-
Max Bird getting promoted automatically with his childhood club and then joining a distant team with no greater prospects
I can see some money changing hands and the transfer cancelled to avoid us having a greatly demotivated player

2-0 in 50 mins and another 19 pages of this thread to go, I was fearing an absolute battering. Not that bad in the end which is about the extent of our hopes at the moment

I wonder if Neil Harris is still banging on about beating Southampton too?

For any comparison being made with our firepower under Liam and the golden boots we were fortunate enough to watch under Pearson (Scott and Semenyo) we have to ask ourselves a hypothetical question; where in the Championship would we be today if Liam had those two playing since he took over?
Trying to get out of League One as he would not have turned around the awful mess we got into during 2020/21 and 2021/22

Scott still looks injured to me, not playing with the intensity of last season and/or struggling a bit in a deeper midfield role when he is a box to boxer
Fair play to Semenyo, his pace and power are so hard to play against
-
Price rises seem fair to me, no more than inflation especially if you take a two year comparison to 2022/23 prices.
I wholly support the 10% uplift in the South Stand and non attending season ticket holders are the ones to blame. Hopefully groups can now purchase individual match tickets in there and the Stand will be full again
Also agree that 'OAP' discount is an outdated concept but that is countrywide and not just related to BCFC
Tinnion and some others on the flyer is very weird, more nonsense from the club

Is there any chance that our a(pathetic) fanbase actually cause a scene at the Gate and make life uncomfortable for SL , JL, BT???
Other clubs fanbases would not accept

Fair play to him, I seem to be more fond of Johnson than most. Obviously he is trying to build back his reputation post Fleetwood
-
There's less fake news and revisionism coming out of Russia than Bristol Sport at the moment
My feelings toward SL, JL and Tinnion are bordering on hatred , the absolute incompetence from all three of them

This season has been such a waste of an excellent defence. Even with an average attack we would be much higher in the league

The last two and a half hours of results have probably saved us from a relegation battle tbf, can't see Huddersfield making up 9 points and loads of GD on us

Can we make it 11th time lucky and win our first game under Manning vs teams starting the day in the bottom 10? Stay tuned in to find out!
The only one likely to dominate possession though therefore an obvious win for us.
Doesn't change anything that we are clueless with the ball against low block teams
-
Are we Birmingham under Rooney levels of bad? Certainly sounds like it hanging on for a nil nil at home

A lot of the managers leaving were actually getting the most out of their squad. Pearson, Mowbray, Jon Dahl, Eustace Brum, all spring to mind.
There is no bounce as there is no improvement to have.
Plus the new breed of coaches as mentioned maybe it takes too much time to communicate their ideas whereas the old man manager would come in and immediately get success from a more bonded team

I think the oil rig shifts up there last longer
Just a lad on his last legs having a few holidays around the country
-
Why on earth would we have spent that kind of money to finish 13th instead of 17th? Absolutely nonsensical for us and no chance he joins a midtable team over promotion chasers in any case

Would absolutely love to see Ipswich shit out this year
They won't get automatics and won't be favourites in the play offs over Southampton, Happy days

It comes to something when it's pleasing to see Caerdydd win

I don't really know why Paterson has so much hate on here
He plays in a position where it doesn't always come off but scored some beauties for us, won us a load of points and his goals to games ratio was more than decent
In fact we have missed a player like him all season

I'd love Stoke and Blackburn to go down alongside Rotherham
Two clubs that are seen as much bigger than they actually are

If I was a player I wouldn't join this amateur shitshow

As I said at the time to much derision on here, this is such a weird transfer.
I will wait to see how it pans out

The 'family' are definitely beating Bristol City Football Club at the moment
