Had the game been played on Tuesday we wouldnt have known any different!

Absolutely. The draw should not be made (for any competition) until the complete round of fixtures has been completed, IMO.

Especially with such a complicated seeding system that leads to so many different outcomes.

Having said that, who'd have paid any attention to the Rovers match otherwise..?!

  2. If Rovers had beat us to earn their tie at Chelsea, you could understand the gloating that is all over social media.

As it is, they are mocking us because of the luck of a cup draw..?!

Celebrate a fun day out in the capital against a top club by all means, but how they think it reflects on us is just bizzare!

Thanks a lot Bar, very much appreciated.. I just got back in and see indeed, as others have said, that they have now come back on sale as the lovely Rachel @ city ticket office advised me via email also. probably best I just try 2 adult tickets first and I will let you know if I need to take you up on your more than kind offer.

No problem at all. Just let me know if you'd like it.

Warning. If an adult uses a childs ticket on Saturday or in future. It will be taken off him/her and the person whose ticket it is has to collect it in the week from the ticket office with proof of identity.  Entry will also be refused for the adult on the day.

As I say, I would never let anybody  (adult) get entry to the ground using my son's child ticket.

But it does mean there is a second seat reserved next to my adult season ticket seat that he could use if he was to purchase a second ticket for any other part of the ground.

Mate, I'm not sure who best to ask on here, possibly @Dollymarie would know, or @Mkelly but I'm sure if you or @havanatopia called the club they'd happily take the difference between a child to adult ticket in cash and give a paper match ticket for that particular seat on Saturday. I did it with an U21 ticket my cousin had 2/3 seasons ago.

Yes you can do that, I've done it a few times when a mates wanted to come.

You need to do it at the ground though and I don't have time to get there and sort it out, hence getting a 2nd ticket anywhere in the ground and using my 2nd seat probably being easiest, on this occassion.

  6. I have enjoyed your pre match reports on the matchday threads and I am unable to attend the Wigan match on Saturday.

You are welcome to use my season ticket in the Dolman if you like and we can arrange pick up and drop off for the ticket.

PM me if you are still looking for one.

I also have a 2nd child ticket seat next to mine. I don't let people try and get in on the child ticket, but the seat is available, if you can get hold of a 2nd ticket anywhere in the ground and then use that seat.

The vast majority love DC .. The start of the conference season was a mare as you know .. since then he's proved himself to be a good manager

A good non league and basement manager, yes.

Still got a lot to prove as to whether he's any good against reasonable opposition.

Whether he turns out to be the next Alex Ferguson or not, I don't think anyone can deny that he is a bit of a bellend, with his embarrassingly cringeworthy antics to get in with the fans. Very unprofessional.

Also his supposed hatred of City is a joke, having never even been involved in a game against us. I'm sure most of your lot lap it up, but seriously, he comes across as a complete tool.

And as for his intimate relations with domestic pets... Well...! Not someone I'd want involved with our club.
