  1. Some crazy results last night, great RedZone viewing...don't think I've ever seen a more open year of SB contenders

We've finally shifted obj. Hard to predict his destination. Can't see the giants taking him back.

    Rehab most likely

He might well do and losing a QB of his qualities would be serious blow.

As regard to the article Rodgers is right, it’s personal choice and he wasn’t exactly lying. He was being economical with the facts.

He's blown all the NFL Covid protocol though on that basis I think the NFL should oveturn the recent Bears result ?

KCC Scraped home against the Giants what's happened to them and Mahomes? Been poor this season.

Revamped their OL badly and their defence hasn't turned up. Most teams just now go after Mahomes and double team Hill, I think thier number one RB is injured as well.

    Another Packers win………

So big Sharon Rodgers lied about his vaccine status, oh dear this isn't going to end well he better hope he did the right Covid protocols either way he looks like a bit of an idiot and now likely to miss at least one big game versus  Mahomes.

    On an unrelated note ....

Any one seen or heard anything of Zak Vyner lately ? ?

Nige obviously doesn't think he is putting it in during training same with KP. Quite strange when Vyner and Taylor Moore were in the early Holden days seen as two promising CB's at this level if coached properly albeit still liable to mistakes. I think the problem with Vyner for me is that he is a centre back but we have tried to make him a right back or a centre mid which he probably isn't good enoguh to be at this level on a consistent basis.

Shame about the result, but a stunning stadium!

Always found the London games a bit weird for atmosphere would love to see a well supported game in the US at some stage with a loud home crowd to compare. I couldn't believe how bad the surrounding area of the Tottenham stadium is when I went to the Bears game in 2019 thankfully someone new a decent boozer for a meet up.

I was thinking a meet up run and drinks the next time City are on Sky for a Saturday lunchtime away game might work?

Good shout although it might be a long wait as we aren't Sky's biggest draw as they only like to show Premier League rejects..

  8. Yep BBC confirmed final is 9pm on Saturday night on Amazon prime but other unofficial sources are available.... Perhaps the BBC should throw a few quid at it to borrow the feed easy money for Amazon and would be massive exposure for British Tennis?

    No

I think it would be a good agreement for us if we do loan you a few to get game time and the close proximity of the clubs would be ideal for some of our youngsters. From Garner's time in Bristol I am sure he will be aware of the talent we have at youth level so I think it would be a smart move for him to give Tinnon a bell.

Did JJW not go there? I hope he walked or is he clinging to hope of getting paid.

And is there any chance Swindon can start the season?

Yes he's still there, scored an outrageous own goal in a freindly the other day

    Speaking of relay…

I’m mindful that I suggested we do a run in memory of One Team In Keynsham. Season starts 7th August and I said one week prior for target - hopefully restrictions gone- so I’d suggest we try and do it 30th July if people are up for. My suggestion is we do a start from AG about 10am, and I think I can plan a 10k (likely loop to Temple Meads with detours) from there.

So, let’s do this. Comment if up for and that time/date works (I’m flexible - in time and date at least!) and if we get enough in this community, let’s push this to the main forum/Twitter/Scotty etc

30th July is a Friday Silvio?

I can do the 31st July (Saturday) and probably most dates if not.

Stage 3, near Cheltenham. I'm doing it with the running club. I did a recce and there are great trails and views but a couple of climbs are long and horrendous, like a trail version of the beast near you. Kicks off tomorrow morning.

Maybe OTIB Runners could do a relay someday...

I did stage 9 again bloomin brutal but at 14k a bit shorter than all the others, humid as a tropical storm thankfully the rain hit Yate and not the A46! Think I knocked 13 mins off my 2018 time which didn't make sense but then I remembered you normally lose at least 5 minutes at the start queing to go through the first few gates. Still well chuffed with 1h20 though but it will probably be around 50th place again as the club runners are like gazelles!

Gloucester? I’d seen that and contemplated it but missed the sign up.

    fair play!

Yeah I signed up back in 2020 thinking it was a good idea! It's a really nice route to be honest from Gloucester to Sharpness. I'm contempliating just doing the 25k race next year and running more against the clock than the distance.
