Shouldn’t even need training for someone whose profession it is, at that level you would hope that they would be a natural. And a lot of it truly is common sense! But the bloke who does our interviews is truly truly awful. It’s like the whole thing is scripted every time.

Tbf he’s remained pretty spiky throughout but at least there is clarity in what he says. And just as importantly for me, an authority. I’m constantly surprised at City fans, in some cases some very well respected City fans by some on here, that never ever seem to take the situation Pearson had to rescue us from into account and just comment on how much they disliked his football. It genuinely blows my mind how people just ignore that fact - still. Baffling.

This is what I’d expect regardless of who was manager and that’s how I’m looking at it now: Blackburn (A) - Draw Sunderland (H) - Win Hull (H) - Win Watford (A) - Loss Birmingham (A) - Draw = 8 points. Change one of the draws to a loss and that’s the 7.

Me too. His goal against Swansea in the cup was one of the best City goals I’ve ever seen live - pace and finishing. He will come good but he needs time and a settled position. Wing back definitely isn’t his position.
