  1. Crazy to even question it. A hugely impressive pro who has helped to nurture our young talent, all the while providing 100% effort every single game and no little skill to match!
  2. Be a shame if so but understandable. A tremendous servant to us.
  3. Very happy that this shows we are not going back to the crazy days of overspending to get ‘our man’. No way is he worth anywhere near that amount.

Why should mates who have been going for decades with the same friends have to sit somewhere else because they have kids and want to ingratiate them to City, thus devaluing both their game day and their mates who don’t take their kids / don’t have kids? Why should kids be made to sit in particular areas? It’s crazy. This constant wanging on about people taking their kids and taking up space of others who don’t buy season tickets is just getting really ridiculous now. If people have such an issue pick it up with the club. It’s simple. I’m sure @phantom will do it. Or @JerrySLO But as others have said, these kids are the future of our club. Weird that people keep attacking them going.
  5. So pick up your issue with the Supporters Club who can liaise with the club for you. Or with Jerry the SLO.
  6. Because ST holders only had until last night to confirm their seats and so may not have bought them. Or May have bought in different areas.
  7. I only managed to get my away ticket because my mate was on it and got all of ours early doors. Couldn’t believe they sold out so quickly. So guess the same applies now just on a bigger scale. Certainly proves the interest is there that’s for sure which is good to see.
  8. We can accuse the club of many things but as it stands you can’t say any pathways are blocked. I would like to know more about why Yeboah has been dropped in due time though and what is going on there (guessing he is currently injured going by team sheet today)
  9. Not to pick on you per se WSMS but have you and all the people who are constantly upset about this perceived issue engaged with @phantom or anyone else who meets with the club regularly to raise this as an item to discuss with them? Also Mods - maybe this subject could have its own thread? Because so many threads are now getting ruined by people complaining about ST holders and the South Stand and possible behaviours that are happening.
  10. Fair play to the club on this one. Great price.
  11. Sums it up for me. I don’t mind him at all - he’s perfectly fine for a mid championship team and it’s nice to have another local lad playing for us - and I prefer him to Bentley. But I think we need to improve further if we want to be consistently challenging for the stated aims of Top 6 and ultimately promotion. That’s not hating on MOL. Just a point of view.
  12. Yeah you’re right he did. Just needs to keep it up now! It’s one of my bugbears - petty maybe but so be it
  13. Tbf to him he came out into the middle and applauded supporters after the Millwall performance. That’s good enough for me. If you’re going to come out after a win you have to do it every single match, regardless of the result.
  14. You are either or an ultra anti Pearsonite. I’m going for the former as no one would be sad enough to try and sabotage yesterdays outstanding performance - on and off the pitch - and one of our most enjoyable away days for a good while (save the trains!) if they weren’t a sad Saggie. Hopefully!
  15. Thanks. Shame it’s taken me over 24hrs to see this! He was neither a manager nor a player was he? Guess this thread is for youth coaches as well then Or just whatever the Mods want to do…… Will be very interesting to see how he does compared to Manning considering he was deemed favourite for our role at certain points during the search.
  16. Wow. And how many ‘voted’ to have the sub forum in the first place?
  17. That’s fair enough. But where does it stop? On the front page we currently have threads about Adam Hinshelwood (Brighton), Wayne Rooney (Brum), the colour of football boots and Rangers - all of which I don’t care one jot about (but very much appreciate some people will) but posts about players and managers that I care about, because they are are related to our club, are hidden away somewhere out of sight. As it’s a Bristol City forum I’d expect it to be the other way around, with non city related posts to be sub sectioned, if there are to be any splits at all (which I don’t think there should be).
  18. I’d be very keen for these topics to be moved back to the main forum. There is no reason for them not to be afaics? I didn’t even realise it had been done until a few days ago. Seems to be change for change sake. I dot see the benefit of the topics being moved other than fornthe sake of it and Mods personal choice? 2 out of 3 users want it done. Can’t really be any fairer than that can it? Edit - if possible could you use the response rates of those that actually pay to use the forum to decide. Just a thought.
  19. We mentioned Celtic as an option yesterday when chatting about this at the game. Would be a good fit there, especially given his Scottish connections and representations. Would much rather he stayed here though and was used appropriately but looks lost atm and despite saying the contrary I think Nige’s leaving has maybe hit him a bit harder than most, alongside losing his best mate to Bournemouth.
  20. That was absolutely diabolical today. But then Watford was fantastic. Birmingham poor performance, but a point on the road is always welcome. Swings and roundabouts I guess but that was worrying for me today. This notion that we are playing front foot football - I’m just not seeing it. He really needs to up it during his ‘time on the grass’ that he seems to be so fond of telling us all about in interview because that felt like a real regression today. Hopefully just a blip.
  21. Looking for a freebie then and being ******* rude about it. Only ‘helmet’ here is you.
