    Bakinson

I expect he will carry on as he has done - starting some games and not others and continuing his development. He’s nowhere near the finished article but he wouldn’t have already played the amount he has this season if NP didn’t think he deserved it.

    Bakinson

And Massengo was getting more and more detractors on this message board up until this season. Bakinson just seems the new favourite for the boo boys unfortunately despite the fact that there were plenty of others nowhere near the top of their game tonight. He’s still developing and people need to give him a chance and stick with him no jump on him every time he has a below average game, usually in line with plenty of other more experienced and far better paid players. Interestingly on Instagram there are 47 comments on the latest post from City (all moaning!) and Bakinson gets mentioned once. Chris Martin on the other hand…..
  3. We’re going to have performances and results like this unfortunately. It’s where we currently are. Fantastic one day and mediocre the next. But we’re building. Still take the positive that we should’ve got something really tonight and weren’t just completely battered. Onto the next one!
  4. Bakinson still very inexperienced at this level and will come good I think. COD has had plenty of opportunities and continues to flatter to deceive after a good amount of time now and chance upon chance. All about opinions though!
  5. I’d much rather watch Bakinson than COD. Maybe in the minority, especially at times like tonight when loads are singling him out but COD is a waste of a man in the team imho and never ever takes his ‘turn’ to contribute to anything. Hope he now scores and shuts me up!
  6. We deserve something from this game and hopefully we will still get it.
  7. Exactly what I’ve heard - second hand admittedly but very very good info.
  8. Hear hear. Saturday felt like some kind of turning point to me in that regard - a real feeling of togetherness on the pitch and a crowd who understood in the main part of what is going on in terms of rebuild and how much a result like that may mean going forwards. Felt like a victory at the end and although some may see that as ‘tin pot’ I think it shows where we currently are. Exciting times ahead indeed.
  9. They have to give a bigger allocation for the FA Cup I believe. What a great day that was btw!
  10. And as long as it continues to be that price for as long as you continue with your season ticket then maybe I would as well - as long as everyone I go with could also be accommodated (unlikely anyway). But the club would never do it. It’s a non starter.
  11. It won’t happen again I’m 100% sure. Would need to displace far too many people to make it worthwhile. The club ballsed up royally IMO in the placing of sections of supporters in the new stadium in placing our traditionally vocal block of fans at the other end of the ground from the away fans, and also in making the section for said vocal fans far far too small. But it’s too late to go back now unfortunately and it would piss too many people off to change it. Not happening.
  12. Anecdotally as I have no actual facts to back this up but the bars always seem far far busier at the Bears than they are for City, and that in turn encourages people to go out whilst the game is on so you don’t have to queue for an age - certainly does with me anyhow! Personally I’m pretty ambivalent to whether beer being available during the game or not is a good thing but what I will say is that I think anything that means football fans get treated as adults and in line with other sports as opposed to being singled out is a good thing, which this step would be imho.
  13. South Bristol Gentrification complete ?
  14. The government can ban betting advertising if ‘they’ so wish.
  15. To me the TV adverts are far far far more destructive than shirt sponsorship and if they are going to ban one they must ban the other. Ive never even heard of the vast majority of betting companies who are shirt sponsors, ours included (maybe Mansion but Dunder?!) but the big boys - Ladbrokes, Skybet, Betfair, William Hill etc taking up 75 % of the air time of the big games - that needs to stop. Even the adverts encouraging you to be careful when betting are subliminally making you think about betting. Tv bans will never happen though - betting companies have the government around their little finger with the revenues they produce so they’re Teflon unfortunately.
  16. Your use of language would suggest otherwise but whatever floats your boat.
  17. It would be very simple for you to copy someone’s username to cover your tracks. But if you are Brighton you haven’t answered why you are so bent out of shape about a league 2 fan having a go about a league 2 rival on a Championship forum. Very odd behaviour if you aren’t
  18. Bullshit you are. And if you are (and not the ‘sad Gas head Bas tard’ that I think you are) then knowing someone’s posting history and tearing into them behind a keyboard and on a site that has nothing to do with you or your team is equally as sad tbh!
  19. We’ve got a new CEO and he has endeared himself to most of us by just talking plain English (not bullshitese) in his single interview that he has done since being here and then simply getting on with his work behind the scenes out of the media spotlight, not acting like some desparate school kid needing love and affection from ‘his fans’. Bloke needs help and if you don’t go up this season so will you Ipswich fans! Feel sorry for you but very very happy he is not our issue any more.
  20. Oh I am don’t worry about that. Posted before that it’s the best ‘transfer’ we’ve had for years!
  21. Jesus ****ing Christ - the man’s narcissism seriously knows no bounds does it. What a cockwomble. How did we ever get involved with him.
  22. Did not see that coming. Fantastic result, well in City!
