  1. Vodka-addled mind s**tposting at midnight local time - I’ve been plaguing this forum for nigh on 18 years now have no expectations beyond hopefully not getting banned, RLL.
  2. Three six nine, the goose drank wine. The Gastards chew tobacco on the street car line. The line broke, the monkey got choked And they all went to heaven in a little Tote Scrote. Clap Clap…
  3. Surely Bath City are too given they beat them in FA Trophy Rd1 last time the two clubs met…
  4. Everyone Cup Final Holders 2021/22 (To date) 7/8/21 to 10/8/21 - Mansfield Town 10/8/21 to 14/8/21 - Cheltenham Town 14/8/21 to 21/8/21 - Stevenage 21/8/21 to 11/9/2021 - Exeter City 11/9/21 to present - Hartlepool
  5. Agreed - as long as they weren’t wearing Rovers away shirts, because then I’d’ve been shielding my son’s eyes and chucking broken crockery at them…
  6. Hartlepool 1 BartonPoo 0 I’ll settle for that.
  7. Did I hear right that the voiceover bloke called him “Kerry” Cooper?!?
  8. Sorry if this has been posted before (I haven’t the time to wade through the thread and check) but I just found this piece of vintage footage from 1981 at Eastville… ”Bristol Rovers are already relegated” - nothing much changes does it! ”Even Bristol Rovers managed a shot on goal after that.” ? That poxy hovel they called a ground. And the “good-natured pitch invasion” at the end - cleared with alsatians and police horses. My, my - they have come a long way since then haven’t they…
  9. What are you on about, ST? Jeffrey Archer is a sprightly 81 I’ll have you know.
  10. And the Rovers fans’ riposte? “We know what we are, we know what we are - a pub team from Wessex, we know what we are” (probably…)
  11. You have to hand it to the Gastards though, they somehow made the Essex locals seem classy and civilised…
  12. Seven years ago to this very day: Braintree Town 2 Bristol Rovers 0 The travelling Gash fans took the humiliating defeat with their usual grace and good humour as I recall…
  13. How satisfying was that? Not only putting that mucky mob to the sword but doing it with the best goal we have scored in yonks to boot. Great performance by players and fans alike. Interesting to see the Cardiff fans follow the advice of their advertising boards - Visit Vietnam, Visit Malaysia, Visit Philippines, visit anywhere except their stadium on a matchday.
  14. Listen, mush - we are far from firing on all cylinders right now but don’t try to tar us with the same brush as you soap-dodging quartered guttersnipes. We pulled in 20,000 “disinterested” punters for a live Sky game last night. Always will be? You seem to have forgotten that you slipped out of the “lower leagues” in 2014 to the non-leagues and there’s every indication you might do so again at the current rate. Oh, and *BRING BACK SKELETOR KLAXON*
  15. That made I laugh. I’m getting vibes more along the lines of, “We’re everyone’s FA Trophy first round bye…”
  16. Everyone’s going to win a cup then…
  17. I agree - having rival fans bringing a different perspective is always good; as long as they’re not being abusive and obnoxious it’s always great to have them on. Our resident Gash and Swindon contributors are always worth a read. Incidentally, does anyone know if all non-Gash fans are banned from A$$Hat, or just us wicked Teds?
