Well constructed reply, not. Sounds like you are in a bit of denial here. It must mean they will become a real adversary to us, something to look forward to, unless you actually enjoy having the stigma in Bristol of having a non league outfit that actually does Bristol City FC no favours at all, especially when we are lumped together with them by the less well informed. As Sweden says this might encourage SL to kick on a bit more, especially with the Bristol Sport ethos, can't see he would want to be considered the poor man of Bristol Sport really.
What do you say Monkeh? Think before you type mind, just for a change.
I for one enjoyed it hugely

Poor 8 days for Rotherham, beaten by both Charlton and Bolton

I am fairly sure Rovers will muddle through. I hope so anyway.
Mods - please can I request a "dislike" button?

Slipped to page 2, which is a shame since they appear to be losing to the mighty Cambridge Utd.
Still, I suppose they are doing better than we did on my last, rather traumatic visit to the Abbey Stadium (in the fifth round of the FA Cup - have we got that far since then?)

First game this year that Rochdale haven't scored

Both penalty shouts were at the other end, so I can confidently say that ours was the most obvious penalty I've ever seen, while Ayling's was clearly ball to hand from a very short distance indeed***
Should have been 1-0 to us then, but happy with a point.

Again the glass half empty line, how is it being a glass half empty to identify a weakness and want to improve on it?! A glass half empty person would identify a weakness and be more than likely to think "well that cannot be fixed".
As I've said before and you seem to ignore, our record is great, our position is great but our defensive performance is not and whilst being top of the league and unbeaten is great I can't see us being top of the league when it counts at the end of the season which is why I want us to take action now.
If there is one thing I've learned about this club is that we are more often than not too slow to react to issues that will affect us in the long run and I don't want to see that happen now as everything is finally starting to come together. If anything I'm wanting us to take positive action, to fix an issue before it gets out of hand, if you consider that being a glass half empty kind of person then you have a strange outlook on life from my point of view.
It is extremely rare for a team not to have a bad patch in a season, I'd much rather we didn't but realistically there is going to be a part of this season where we're struggling, especially when we've started in the manner we have. I never said the goals will dry up entirely but there will be times when we struggle to score and if our young defence can't handle the pressure when we're scoring for fun then how will they deal with the pressure when they need to perform more than ever? The defence may come good but personally I'd rather we took an approach we haven't done for as long as I can remember and be ruthless, replace players who don't perform with players who can. I'm still a little irritated at how long we held onto some players who dragged us down, especially Fontaine, I'd rather too many players who are good than not enough, after all squad depth is a good thing.

Didn't Cotterill say early on that we would concede goals, but aim to score even more, or something like this?
You say we draw too many - that's simply because we're drawing rather than losing. We have the best points per game ratio in the entire football league, and even if we include the Premiership then only Chelsea have a better ratio.
I'm going out on limb here, but I would hazard a guess that Cotterill has noticed the ball going into our net. He might even be thinking how to stop it happening so often.
Finally - why speculate about the risk that Cotterill will display the same faults (retaining players too long) that previous managers have? He's shown himself happy to leave players like JET and El Bad out. You might as well say that previous City managers have walked out on us, and we need to take action now to stop Cotterill doing the same.

What's going to happen first - will we lose, or will Sammy score a goal ??

Is it over?
No, but the match has finished
-
Ah well, it will make it even sweeter when the pikeys get relegated next week

...i said all season our squad is top half potential easy...
with Crawley losing and Gillingham drawing at present, all we need is for Bradford to lose (currently drawing 0-0 with Walsall) and we'll be in the top half TONIGHT
That's assuming we hold onto our slender lead

Absolute joke. Always right on half time
Tonight it worked well for us - almost no time for them to build momentum after the goal.

Looks like SC's honeymoon period is now well and truly over.
Safely now I can only see a long bleak run of games with no wins. At Forrest I think he managed 7 consecutive defeats, sadly I can see the same happening here.
Sean, mate, just move on

In this day and age I guess it is VERY rare for a Manager to be "poached" from another side
Even S'OD was poached from Crawley! Uwe Rosler, David Moyes and Roberto Martinez are other recent examples ....
I think the last time it happened to us was T*ny P**is. We were all absolutely over the moon. I wonder happened to him

Shite. League 2 awaits
Too right. We got thrashed 1-0 away to a team that's only 21 places off the bottom.
We've only got a measly 27 games left to close that massive two point gap.
Time to throw in the towel. See you all at Cambridge next year ....
