Wouldn’t matter if double jabbed. Only have to isolate if positive test or unvaccinated.

The bit I found odd was the no close contact since QPR (Fulham would have made sense). But it’s to our benefit if nobody else effected!

Isn't it more likely that someone in the media dept can't read a calendar properly?

I think this might have quite a considerable impact on Sunderland’s current form.

Sorry I simply don't believe this. I was under the impression that an injury list this long could only possibly be the result of an evil plot devised by Mark Ashton and implemented by Andy Rolls, and that we are the only club in the country with such a problem

That's a "choice" that has and will continue to result in people dying. Or, we could minimise cases and deaths by taking some pretty simple measures that would inconvenience people's lives for a few weeks. It appears to be a fairly straightforward choice to me. I accept it is possible that the virus simply fizzles out and the number of cases drops off, however my view would be why take the chance?

But it's not that simple.  We knowingly accept increased risks all of the time for the sake of convenience, not least every time we drive a car, or go out in winter (since normal flu kills hundreds of thousands each year).  The reason that strong measures made sense in China and Italy is that, for whatever reason, localised outbreaks got out of hand  It's a very different situation here, where we have a handful of cases scattered all across the country.

Their next 3 games are Sunderland, Ipswich and Peterboro as well....

Unfortunately, and unbelievably, Ipswich seem to be in even worse form than the Saggies.  They have just lost 4 on the bounce, and 7 of their last 9.  Now down to 10th and 7 points off the play-offs.  Good job they got rid of Mick McCarthy ....

Baker is the only nailed on starter that I can see who is injured.

Smith hasn't started a league game.

    Adelekalum is a punt.

We have looking to replace Fielding all summer.

Wright is probably not a starter.

    And neither is Hegeler.

And what makes our plight worse is Wright and Hegeler were known to be injured before the season started and we never even brought a loan in as cover.

It's a lame excuse for me and shows how lacking in quality our squad is when 3 and 4 games in we are having to patch a team together.

@Matt Parsons BCFCSLO how about you actually speak to your employers about this individual?Your employers clearly don’t give a **** about the supporters of Bristol City Football Club, However they do care about the image of Bristol Sport which this clown is commenting about which has been stated as untrue by @JulieH and Beanhead (remember him ?)

If you think this is the way to get a constructive response, then good luck to you

Well I thought we were going to be well beaten tonight, but to be fair play I thought we were fully deserving of a point tonight and I think the summarisers all called it right, go down in a theatrical way and you run the risk of not getting a penalty, sympathy? have I ****.

We are strong, we will not be bullied and we don’t feel the need to throw ourselves to the ground.

Diedhiou was terrific and certainly the catalyst for our improved 2nd performance, a little ring rusty obviously but my god it shows what we have missed.

The good news is apart from Cardiff away we have now played all of the better sides twice.

Fielding/Steele 7 Both played really well, did what they had to do with little or no fuss.

Wright 6 He was ok, but I have to say again he is not a full back.

Flint 7 A few mistakes but solid enough.  [Or 4 if there was VAR for this match]

Baker 7 Look his usual self for the first 45 minutes.

Magnússon 5 I know this is probably not going to be popular, but he makes me nervous and I think that it also makes Flint nervous, he is far too casual at times, the way he allowed Russell past him in our box after doing the hard work was a carbon copy of a huge mistake he made at home earlier in the season against Cardiff, luckily this time it did not cost us a goal and I think his positional play is suspect.

Brownhill 6 Not at his best but boy does he put in a shift every game.

Smith 8 My MOM, I thought he was terrific tonight, attacking and defending, what an engine.

Pack 7 I thought he played well within himself all night, but certainly did his bit, I wonder if the spectre of a ban might be stifling his normal all action style?.

Bryan 7 I thought his best work was defensively tonight, solid.

Paterson 6 Always a threat but his shooting boots are missing.

Reid 7 I just love his energy, defenders cannot take there eyes off of him at all, he came alive in the 2nd half having Diedhiou with him.

Diedhiou 8 Because he gave balance to an unbalanced team, we need him fit.

LJ 9 Tactics were spot on, picked the best team initially available to him, brave as usual with his unenforced substitution.

Small santa's grotto, errr, actually quite close santa's grotto

  9. I love the fact they're all so positive, want they dopey one to stay despite 1 point from the last 7 games, and are going on about how well they played yesterday.  Successful sides can win when they don't play well.  Then you have R*****s.

Dopey could be on the verge of history.  Has any manager taken a side out of and back into the same league from both directions???

The year we got promoted as Champions from L1?

We averaged about 1400 away that season. Higher than they’ve ever averaged.

They had more than that locked out from every match.  Kent police had to implement Operation Stack (Google it if you don't know) when they played at Dover

The World Naked Bike Ride takes place every year in cities around the world. In Britain we have them in Brighton, London and Bristol. Cambridge stopped having them because plenty were prepared to ride, but no one wanted the bother of organising it.

The event is / was an anti fossil fuel event, but many participants these days do it for the fun / thrill  and aren't bothered with politics.

Thinking about it, Gary Johnson could have taken part when he threatened to bare his backside in a shop window if a certain player scored for City.

It's happened in London for quite a while.  Some participants hire Boris bikes.  Certainly put me off using them .....

I would like to see both Paterson and O'Dowda start at Wednesday.

Their pace will give us an edge on the break, and when you look at the Wednesday back line I think that will hurt them.

Agree about Paterson, milimetres away from being a hero yesterday.  Not convinced O'Dowda is quite ready to start, would like to see him taking more risks (especially against a team like Rotherham).  He always played the safe pass yesterday, which can often slow down a promising attack
