Reckon we need to get 4 out with the new ball (by lunch) including Cook for it to be even worth watching this afternoon
-
So what is the Somerset plan?
I'm guessing bat out the day, try to get around 250 on the board then put Essex in first thing tomorrow, relatively easy target in 98 overs and pretty optimistic that we'd even get to that total.

3 overs tonight?
Be nice to get at least one out
Will they open with a night watchman?
I think rain/light may save them from the 3 overs

However I have no hope of us winning at Glos today. Can’t remember the last time we played well there
It almost feels like it isn't worth watching, but I'm just going to put up with seeing our 76 all out then I can concentrate on the football instead.

Surprised to see Sale bowling 20th over. He didn't look like a death bowler last week

When its available, can someone share todays link to the game please?
For some reason I have been unable to find it anywhere, I just keep getting the previous days play again
Means I can hook this page up on my TV and have the cricket on in the background whilst "working from home"

What a knock that is, hope he carries his bat
Been impressed with him before this game but that was something special.

Derbyshire missed out on batting bonus point by five runs. So Essex definitely in the final now.

Usual Somerset collapse underway now. Will the lower order get us up to a batting point?

No stream unless you are a member - pathetic from Worcs. Hope your ground floods again
So they are doing it as an unlisted Youtube video. So only members are being sent the link maybe?! I'm sure no-one will watch this feed who isn't allowed to.

Right, so 66 overs left in the day with quite possibly no play after today.
Should Somerset go with a big gamble and just swing the bat for say 14 overs, declare and then try to bowl out Gloucestershire again in the remaining 50 overs today?

I mean this is just silly
Decent end to the day!
Weather looks grim for Monday & Tuesday though and I just don't see us wrapping it up tomorrow, the follow on target is only 20 odd away. Another frustrating match maybe?

Just the groundsman who did so all
I thought they were doing ok until I noticed the super soaker driver stopping for a chat for 5 minutes

Are we back playing yet or are we waiting for the covers to be removed?
It's over, match drawn

Any chance that by 5.00 Warwickshire will be asking the umpires about bad light?
Probably, but it is very sunny there right now
-
Glos could also be rain affected shortly
-
Players making way onto field, hover cover halfway off and down comes the rain again. This is becoming very frustrating
-
Looks from the live stream that they may not be far off a restart.
Shame it is going to rain again in about 10 minutes.

Nice simple explanation of the plan.
That is last weeks plan though isn't it. As I understand we are now moving to the Italian model described in the thread, judging by the paper from Imperial College.

Not so with a grant.
At least, I hope that is how it works.
As I understand it the grants are available to businesses that are getting Small Business Rate Relief, as a contractor I don't have business premises other than my home office so don't think I'm eligible for any grants.

1965/66 season featured a 15 game losing run, that is the longest I can see but haven't checked for runs that cross seasons
Just realised I said losing run, when I meant winless run. Ooops.

2000/01 relegation - as above (lost 6 of the last 10 games)
2010/11 relegation - already mentioned winless for 10 in the middle of the season, no win in last 6 games)
2013/14 relegation - everyone's favourite season Only 2 wins in the last 12, the win at Wycombe giving them so much hope only for disaster against a team wearing their own kit, marvellous.
Their league record for 2014/15 is my favourite thing on this website

Doesn't Barton currently have the lowest points per game of the three managers so far this season? If they are that bad what does it say about him?
