Attention of people of Thornbury
Someone has tested positive of coronavirus in Thornbury
I can't see this online... Are you telling us Arteta lives in Thornbury? Must live in one of the new builds....

Will that have a knock-on effect to the following season as well I wonder, seeing as the footballing calendar will be skewed by the later World Cup?
How would they schedule WC qualifiers?

Great, I used my Wildcard to bring in 3 Arsenal and Man City players each AND captained De Bruyne
Yeah, what a waste of my Free Hit. The WHO and Premier League should be ashamed of themselves...

Do the Dutch have the Pfand system out of interest?

Corona still going strong in Germany? Excellent. Will be off there soon then. Fabulous.
I'm not in Germany but I noticed on the Corona map that they're infected too. If you hear anyone say Gazundheit, stay well clear!

You used to get 2p I think if you took the empty back to a shop! What a great idea, very environmental, good incentive to recycle, this is what Greta should be trying to push not blaming past generations who actually were way more environmentally friendly back in the day!
They do it in Germany.
Maybe they do it already in Greta's Sweden?
In Germany it is called 'Pfand'. You'll see homeless people rooting around bins to fill their bags with discarded glass bottles. They can then collect the cents from the supermarket. Excellent system.

Austrian Bundesliga has just been suspended (and they don’t even have 200 cases), leagues are gonna be decided on FIFA at this rate.
To be fair, everyone lost interest once Haaland left...

Am I the only person who couldn't give a crap about the virus? Honestly, people live and die, what's the big deal?
Saw a guy today wearing a face mask at school to collect his kids, almost laughed my socks off!!
I know what's going on here. You're waiting on an inheritance from an elderly relative - this virus is great news

So only 319 people are infected
The number who think they have it or are being tested is irrelevant.
Let's deal in FACTS
Only 319 have been diagnosed with infection.

Doesn't help when you've got a part-time Prime Minister who isn't exactly renowned for his work ethic or attention to detail.
Third world countries like Cambodia and Ghana are already screening people coming back into their respective countries. We're letting thousands of people fly back into the country from infected areas with no checks whatsoever.
Don't worry, it'll be a Gangbusters plan

Yeah that's got the slight surf rock lilt to it.
As well as favourite tracks, what are our favourite lyrics, place references and random D list celebrity references?

I found out about this too late unfortunately.
Been listening to Trouble Over Bridgewater quite a bit recently.
Looks like they played a lot of classics. I would have been shouting for She's In Broadstairs.

That doesn’t appear to be reported anywhere mate?
It has been reported that one bloke who had worked in Finzels Reach has been diagnosed with it. They're giving his old office a Spring clean for good measure.

Is it wrong that I secretly hoped that Ighalo would infect the entire Man United squad just to punish them for making such a preposterous signing?! Oh it is? Sorry.
Has conspiracy theorists hypothesised that illuminati funded scientists created and spread the virus as a method of an eugenics motivated population cull? If not, I'm getting on Twitter forthwith...

No, coronavirus is around 10 times as deadly as flu.
Do you mean that the virus has ten times the physical effect on sufferers or that it has killed at 10 times the rate?
-
4 minutes ago, Kid in the Riot said:
There's been around 84,000 reported cases and of those 2,858 have died, so quite deadly...
Am I right in saying that it's only deadly if you have an underlying problem. Otherwise it is just man flu?

My quickest run was about twenty meters about ten years ago. We were at a remote location in the Northern Territory of Australia. One shop, one pub with a bottle shop. The locals are not allowed within 100 meters of the bottle shop for obvious reasons if you are aware of the indigenous communities in these remote locations. Usually the locals will approach you as soon as they see you with a green slab of beer on your shoulder (Victoria bitter cans) we walked out of the bottle shop one night the two of us waiting for them to approach and they didn’t. This was unusual and when we looked around we saw a croc about six feet long to the side of us. We ran like hell. I have never ran so fast in my life. Me and my mate drank the 24 stubbies between us afterwards.
If only you'd captured it on Strava!

I suspect they will cancel football until after the International break. I seriously don't know how I'm going to survive without football...
