Huddersfield V Reading last game of the season could be the deciding relegation spot between these two. Hopefully another Northern club to depart this division.
Ah right. I was wondering why all the press were declaring Blackpool had been relegated, despite the fact that they could have caught both Reading and Huddersfield. Admittedly their goal difference is hugely inferior but that can't mean they are declared down. Now its obvious that Udders and Reading cant both lose their last game.

He was on the pitch limbering up on the touchline while the team were warming up yesterday.

Sorry, but how anyone can say we deserved anything from today has rose tinted specs on. We looked like boys against men for much of the match, and Burnley outplayed us without getting out of second gear.

1200 unknown points for me and it looks like F/A worth buying!!
Recently got a red bobble hat which looks ridiculous on me and a bottle opener, of which I already have about 4 in the drawer.

When do we have to use them by, anyone know?

Was listening to this on 5Live last night. Of the 44 (?) clubs who voted, and that obviously includes many outside the top division, 32 were in favour, 7 against and 5 abstained. It wont come in until 2025-6 season and there will still be a route to promotion to the Super League so it won,t be a totally closed shop, but yes around 10 clubs would never get relegated. Another of the contributing factors , apparently, is the number of followers a club has on its social media platforms.

I saw that too, but I'm sure I heard Downsy say we had sold "almost 10,000" last night.
A lot of people are waiting till the last minute before renewing. Better in my bank, and all that.

The worry I guess is you lose him getting to the byline and crossing, something he is arguably the best in the world at.
But last night you did see how effective he could be playing inverted. Don't think Liverpool can do that unless Konate is RCB, blokes a beast. Matip far too slow and Gomez far too useless to cover two positions.
Maybe they wont feel the need to sign a young Championship midfielder now, if they have one already in their ranks.

How good was Trent in midfield though ?

That's exactly what's happened. All leave cancelled for the coronation, so a lot who are affected are taking it the weekend before instead.
Good weekend to be a burglar.

Spot on. By contrast, Boro had four PL loanees (Steffen, Giles, Ramsay and Archer) on the pitch at various times today. I know whose shoes I’d rather be in.
Really? Even if Boro dont go up, they will replace those loans with four more of equal quality, and be strong again next season. Or are you talking long term?

I was one of Cornick's critics, but today I thought he was superb, maybe even our MOM. Let's hope this is the start of things to come.

I’m not saying that at all - as Spudski said many people will know about impending transfers but we as fans aren’t privy to various elements of deals - they are strictly confidential.
The only way that we fans know for certain that Joe Bloggs has signed for us is when it’s confirmed on the OS. I’m struggling to understand why anyone would question that fact……..……..
This Bloggs fellow, can't play centre half can he?

No that's why they need someone to locate houses for players
No its probably because the club houses are housing his mates.

Sure these players will need to be found houses!!
Doubt Ipswich have any club houses, available for club staff.

Imagine the need for MA to rush and and spend even more again if the get promoted, of course he could need to spend even more again if they do not get promoted as the players are not good enough
All with the same agent?

I may be wrong, but hadn't NP already suggested in his press conference that T Conway was fit, but would only be given 60 minutes?
Yes but how many actually watch those things.

You write that as though it's a form of justification. All it actually does is make the person booing seem as thick as mince. Anybody with the remotest football brain would understand why Conway was hooked after an hour on Saturday. I mean you would need to be as thick as **** not to get that. Nobody can be that stupid can they? Nah, not possible.
Not justifying it at all, merely stating why our Neanderthals might consider booing.

My take on that view is I really doubt Nigel Pearson really gives a flying **** what they think but the recipients, be that Sam Bell, Josh Low or indeed Cornick, do.
They’re morons.
Not sure Josh Low, the ex Gas player would care, but Joe Low might.
