  2. Strange how views can change in just a few weeks. Back at the beginning of August we were saying that the players we had bought were quality acquisitions,  and how we had cover for every position. Play offs were seemingly a possiblity especially  with the soundbites coming from the club.

Here we are, three short games later panicking about shoehorning somebody into the left centre back slot, once again playing players out of position, and the spine of the side looking weaker than it has for years.

It's true though, the south stand always shows as sold out, yet there is at least a quarter of the seats empty EVERY home league game

Thats because most are sitting somewhere else. Its not rocket science.

Well it's either that or a major engineering project stop it falling into the river completely.

Just re read your post, sorry. The official line is to aid buses from the Portway and Ashton get to the centre. However, prior to the roadworks, Cumberland Road is a very quiet main road and buses have their own lanes up most of it anyway. Coronation Road, by contrast is always busy around the Bedminster end so even on normal days it will be bumper to bumper. Madness.

No that work finishes as the bus gate opens. You can go up Cumberland Road as far as the SS Great Britain turning then there is a bus gate, making any cars going up in error, turn left around by The Orchard and back down where they came....into the traffic. Outbound remains unchanged.

  6. Just a heads up to anyone who usually parks in the Hotwells, Spike Island area, and uses Cumberland Road to get back over town, this Saturday is the last game before it becomes one way, outbound only . The bus gate opens early September so Coronation Road will be absolutely rammed after matches.

I’m not too sure what happened, over-stewarding or getting the lads to sit maybe?  It was a good opportunity for the club to back it.  We moved but I guess some ppl didn’t want to, obviously their right.  It’s farcical really how the club went about finding a place for the original east end…s82 via atyeo is not exactly old east end is it.

No, and its also not 1976 any more

  8. The club has history of this. Several years ago, before the redevelopment  of AG, we used to have a vending machine in the old Williams stand which sold bottles of coke etc. Then there was a clampdown on bottles at the concessions and they had to have their tops removed , and the next game the vending machine had a sign on it saying "out of order". I thought then, and I think now they were lying to us.

From the QPR site: "The club would like to thank the EFL and Norwich City for accommodating our request for the tie to be played a week later than all other first round matches.

This request was made in order to provide additional time for our pitch to settle following extensive works during the close season."

Are they moving the goal forward so it can be seen from the upper tier?
