No blame from me on Cornick ( I am one of the few that can see what he brings to the team ) he just got a bit carried away with his run. He could actually have just wellied the ball goalwards a bit earlier as the keeper was 'all at sea' and in no mans land. And I was referring to our late chances where we could have 'nicked' a point. Anyway as you say, let's hope for a win Saturday.
Don't think we'll win Saturday either.

Expected to lose tonight, think we're rose colouring the first half, few good chances but Southampton largely controlled the game. What concerned me was the subs. Saturday he got it right. Cornick great for running down a game. But Cornick/Weimann when we're chasing it? We were looking at half chances at best and Conway/Bell/Sykes are always more likely to finish one of those.
Bell and Conway couldn't finish a crossword lately. Bell needs a spell out the side.

They just put possession stats on the screen here. Doesn't feel like 64% to 36%
And we had only 1 clear cut chance?

I seem to recall something along the lines of if the keeper has the ball in one hand but pressure on it, ie when it’s on the ground, he’s considered to be in control. So a bit like a try in rugby when they have to apply pressure.
I might’ve got the interpretation wrong, but the old “two hands” shout wasn’t as defined as I thought.
Do you remember the Forest player who crept up behind the keeper who was holding the ball in one hand, and nodded it off him to score. Maybe that's when it was changed.

You’re right - obviously the referee doesn’t know the laws either.
When did it change from hands to hand? I was always taught that if a keeper had one hand on the ball it was still in play.

Think it was a Jason Knightingale.

With a liability like Dael Fry at CB, it’s not that amazing they lost IMO. I struggle to recall a worse CB performance at this level.

Last time I went to Barnsley the balti pie was the best I have ever had.

Remember story from when we used to play Christmas Day and then Boxing Day. I think it was Cook, was so pissed on Xmas night, he played the next day still totally ratarsed.

this seems to follow on from the City team coach no longer being branded going forward.
@JerrySLOThis begs the question, will it be branded when its reversing?

Was it actually just a £5 raise, or do Accrington do what most other clubs do, including ourselves and have Gold fixtures? These are derermined when the fixture list comes out so not technically a raise in prices.

Funny thing this came up. When I was younger and Penguin bars came in packs of 8 with two red, two blue, two green and two yellow wrappers, I refused to eat the blue ones. Even now when we buy a pack of toothbrushes I bin the blue ones.

Much like Ranieri at Leicester. That didn't go too badly.

The interview is almost word for word identical to his opening interview for Oxford. Watched his City one, then his Oxford one and my wife said "You're not watching it again ? "

Carl Hutchings. Now there's a player who looked like he should have been decent.
-
Just watched his interview from when we hammered them in August. Comments from Oxford fans were scathing with one saying he will be gone by Christmas. He was right.

Most people are just passing stuff on in good faith.
But they don't that's the thing. They give out cryptic clues then sit back, smirking to see the chaos they have caused.

That’s pathetic. Embarrassing as you say.
I think the joke here is the Ronnie Pickering youtube video.

I always found RB having Brookman at the sags, and Adam Baker for us a while back as summarisers extremely strange. Neither of them former players, and with no more knowledge of Football than the average fan. The good thing for us now is that we’ve got Gary Owers and Chris Honor summarising are games.
And they used to live, a few years ago about 6 houses apart fron each other.
