    Grow a set I say….

And that isn’t one of them

    it’s a baby shower for **** sake 🤣

I would rather spend even just 5 minutes with a member of my family if they asked, than 90 minutes with Harry Cornick and Co. That's just my thought.

Kick to the head whilst on the floor also, arrest both men and throw the book at them. Then kick the team out the league.

I think it's the kick that caused the damage to the eye, as looking at stills of the punch it was more on the jaw. Obviously wrong on every level, but the kick could be seen as far more serious.

I'll be there at the births, but a baby shower ?

Woman behind me had 5 empty seats next to her against Norwich. I asked whose they were and she said her husband's and their four friends. When I asked if they couldn't make it, she said no they are at his funeral.

    Bugger.

Just been advised that I can't go to the game due to a double baby shower in our house  for 2 x new grand kids.

Apparently, I have to "show my face" and "welcome everyone",  then **** off, whats the point of that ?

Its bang on 2pm as well.

    Brilliant.

    Not :ranting:

Mate, some things are more important than football.

I like the term behaviours, because everything is a behaviour. People make choices to behave in manners that make success more likely, or not, or worse. Another I like is solutions not excuses. Solution based thinking, growth mindset, challenge states, non negotiables etc are behaviours, so is get your ******* head up Son and crack on.

Part of the EUFA badges includes a section on dealing with the media. The style of communication between Manager/coach and fans is down to each individual Manager/coach and their club not the FA.

I contacted BCFC once about sharing information with fans about playing identity, training methods and how these were applied throughout the club to the XI .. I got the impression the club really didn't get many (any) enquiries about that type of thing.

If ever I am looking for a tradesman to do some work for me, and I see the word 'solutions' in their company name or advert, I scroll straight on past.

It was two, he was fine in one of them and we were absolutely desperate with literally nobody fit at the club that played in that position.

Today Cameron Pring was on the bench watching Sam Bell play left wingback for crying out loud.

He wasn't fine, hence the surprise when he started the next.

Always thought he’d make a brilliant left wing back.

    Said nobody ever.

Well just for balance, Pearson once played him as a right wing back for three disastrous games.

Now that reply is dross...talk about another OTT condemnation of Manning and still just 4 weeks in, but don't let common sense get in the way of an agenda that under no circumstances will you admit that its a step up ...Well not until we are a viable unit and of course you and the other nay sayers will be singing a different tune.

You say only 41% will renew, not your poll but you quoting from this toss....IF you honestly believe that then save your sympathies for me and check in onyour own well being , because of all the stupid comments around this appointment that has to be up there as the most ridiculous.

41% saying they will definitely renew, in December is, I would say very high. In reality, come rain or shine about 85-90% will eventually renew.

Cheers for the reply - however, I really don’t understand your point that “every assist from a corner was a pass played backwards”, with all due respect, I really don’t get that - so if we won a corner and the corner taker whipped it in with a wicked inswinger and a City player headed it home - how is that a “pass played backwards”?! Cos you said “every assist from a corner...”

Under Lee Johnson I was totally fed up watching the keeper pass it to a full back who knocked it back to a centre back who passed it to the other centre back who then passed it out to the other full back who then passed it back to the keeper - and off we went again - just so LJ could boast in his un-decipherable language that we’d had ‘pleasing possession stats” - even when we’d been beaten - don’t forget, we once went from November to March without a win in a Lee Johnson season - yet he still wanged on about ‘box penetrations’ and possession stats - “Box Penetrations” ? I reckon I once viewed a dubious DVD with that title!! Back in the day ... 😳🍷

Even though you are totally against ‘getting the ball forward’ - I want our centre halves to play crisp early passes to our midfielders who are poised on the half turn - and they can then bang in early passes to lively strikers who are making runs in behind static defenders or they can play in wide players down the channels - quick, crisp and lively - that’s my formula for ‘getting the ball forward’

I’m sorry you don’t want our lads to ‘get the ball forward’ but I think we are more likely to score goals if we do...

The thing with me is the body shaping of the player receiving the ball after it has been knocked across the back a couple of times. It finally gets played to the halfway line or just beyond, and as the player receives the ball, his body is automatically in a negative position, where the only thing on his mind is to turn and go back again. Just watch Tanner or James or Sykes next game. Tanner especially has been brought up watching Luke Shaw videos I'm sure.

This was why Alex Scott was such a breath of fresh air, get the ball and actually want to take it on.

I think Sunderland Newcastle will be an early Sunday tv game.
They’ll definitely show Arsenal Liverpool as the prime time Sunday afternoon game.
They’ll always have a low ranked team at home so likely Ramsgate v Ipswich. This will be the Friday night game.
Man United will definitely be on tv as I think there’s something written in a tv contract somewhere that says every fa cup game of their must be shown. Saturday evening for that one.
That leaves a Saturday lunchtime and a Monday night.
I reckon they’ll switch ours to Monday night!! They don’t want 10,000 wurzels up there in that there London on a Saturday afternoon.

    Make no mistake

No blame from me on Cornick ( I am one of the few that can see what he brings to the team ) he just got a bit carried away with his run. He could actually have just wellied the ball goalwards a bit earlier as the keeper was 'all at sea' and in no mans land. And I was referring to our late chances where we could have 'nicked' a point. Anyway as you say, let's hope for a win Saturday.

Don't think we'll win Saturday either.

Expected to lose tonight, think we're rose colouring the first half, few good chances but Southampton largely controlled the game. What concerned me was the subs. Saturday he got it right. Cornick great for running down a game. But Cornick/Weimann when we're chasing it? We were looking at half chances at best and Conway/Bell/Sykes are always more likely to finish one of those.

Bell and Conway couldn't finish a crossword lately. Bell needs a spell out the side.

I seem to recall something along the lines of if the keeper has the ball in one hand but pressure on it, ie when it’s on the ground, he’s considered to be in control.  So a bit like a try in rugby when they have to apply pressure.

I might’ve got the interpretation wrong, but the old “two hands” shout wasn’t as defined as I thought.

Do you remember the Forest player who crept up behind the keeper who was holding the ball in one hand, and nodded it off him to score. Maybe that's when it was changed.
