It’s their home kit in their home stadium. Luton should have figured this out and have the stewards in different colours. It must be the same every game.

Yes but my question still stands.

I went to the brilliant National Museum of Football in Manchester last month, and one of the items on display is an actual Man United shirt from that 1909 FA Cup Final.

As well as this interesting football programme...

Yes, I have that programme as well.

Pretty entertaining game, Luton rode their luck and nearly had the best Premier league result in a very long time, but a point against Liverpool is still a massive result.

Credit to Luis Diaz for not only playing but also scoring, even if it fortuitously came off his shoulder - what he has been through the past days is simply unimaginable

The other thing, I was surprised to see Luton stewards wearing jackets which at a glance look the same as the team. It must be a nightmare for officials and even team mates glancing out of their peripheral vision

I do wonder if the ref has the power to force either the team or the stewards to change colour. He would realise as soon as he turned up at the stadium there  would be a clash.

I reckon there's a council policy to confuse everyone who isn't a born and bred local. Either that or old Poo-tin is about.

During the war, signposts in Bristol were altered to confuse any enemy invaders or spies. "To the North" pointed south and vice versa, and Avonmouth was pointing towards Dundry. Maybe this is in case of an invasion of Gasheads in the event of a cup tie. (obviously wouldn't be a League game, that would be silly)

A lot of Ipswich players aren't actually all that spectacular individually although their results are.

    Looking through their side yesterday..

Players such as Woolfenden, Burgess, Morsy, Luongo, Chaplin, Hirst.

On off the bench,  Taylor, Harness, Ladapo.

Not exactly established Championship high end players.

Hladlky, Clarke, Davis, Hutchinson, Broadhead with Tuanzebe off the bench, better but overall are they not overperforming, not just us but a fair chunk of the division.

Their squad is nothing amazing as a whole.

You say they are overperforming, however they started the season as 5th favourites for the title and are easily the best side we have played at home so far.

Fair enough, nothing against you personally and if it proves to be correct more power to your elbow and thanks for informing us. But there have been several ITKs dropping hints for instance that the new head coach has German connections and cannot find any German connections with Manning. (It will probably be revealed later that his house was wired using material made in Berlin.)

How about "Don't panic Mr. Manning"

O Level German (Failed) was 60 years ago, so I could be wrong, but as the e comes before the I, would it not be lie-berk-naysht?

(Not that I think it’s something we’re going to need to know.)

Shouldn't bother worrying. It took us 6 months to get Adam Nagy right.

    Very unlikely now

Certainly not in a local radio interview

At best he'll be gone after QPR

Was a very tell interview on Thursday

For anyone having Sunday lunch in a Bristol hotel today, keep your eyes open

Look at me. I know everything and you don't.

In a job. By coincidence I was with Koln and Dortmund fans today who had flown over for the game. They loved Bristol and our cyder and IPAs. Got a bit of info on the guy we're interested in.

I should say I still think we'll make a domestic appt.

Only two days ago you said it was someone who had previously worked for City.

According to Bristol Live, Manning has said in his post match presser that he has had ‘no contact with BCFC and has heard nothing’. Does this suggest he’s not our man?

Don’t want to be naive but everyone is so cautious and media trained these days aren’t they. You’d obviously dodge a direct question like this (like politicians do) but you wouldn’t just outright lie, would you? You’d find another way of answering it.

Is it possible that he’s the Lansdwon’s main man but still hasn’t actually spoken to them yet? Can’t see it.

Reading the Oxford forum, they are all resigned to losing him saying he would be mad to turn it down.

I think if he showed consistency in performance for another year-18 months he’s a good shout. But I’m probably landing on the side of No at the moment for the above reasons.

Problem is, like with promising lower league players, if that happens bigger and better clubs than us would be after him and we would have no chance. It's take a gamble now, or forget him.

    👻🎃🎃👻

Last night I met some ITK witches in the woods on the Mendips.

They've been speaking with all those coaches and managers who have crossed to the other side.

They very clearly stated that Steve has made a request to them to source the late Graham Taylor's DNA and clone him for the vacant "Head Coach" role at BCFC.

    Remember children. Just Say NO.

Nor Eustace, according to the same blog. Methinks there was no plan and, insofar as there was a plan, it isn’t going to plan and, moreover, although an ad hoc plan may be under construction, nothing is certain on the planning front. At the end of the day it will be whoever’s available, affordable and willing, which may turn out to be a short and fairly unattractive list.

Can we not just go ahead without any planning ? Works across the river.

I heard from a former player (a year ago) that Tinnion has more power than Pearson.  I laughed it off at the time.  The comfy club, Bristol City yet again reaping what it sows.

Wasn't John Shaw by any chance?

  15. Seems as though the new head coach will be told what to do and exactly how to do it by the suits, pretty much at interview. Any deviation from 'their way' and he has no chance. I wonder what would happen if a Warnock or a Rowett says that he can guarantee a play off place, but it won't be pretty to watch. Would they go for it or do they know better?
