Watching the clip of them passing it hard along the strip, are they deliberately trying to make the reciever miscontrol the ball? If so, how is this beneficial?

I guess that depends where you are in the ground. In the singing section it was pretty toxic for the Boro home game when we went 2 - 2 and at the end of the QPR game last week.
I'm no happy clapper by any means, but this post smacks of you thinking we should win every game we play.

That's why Man U stopped wearing black at away games some seasons ago. it was because they said it was difficult for the players to see each other clearly.
Actually changed at half time and never wore it again

Has an u21 team ever reached the final?

Could advise using the train TWO services an hour from Cardiff to Bristol temple meads, change at BTM for service Parson Street, then the walk to Ashton Gate
If he is prepared to walk from Parson Street, then there is street parking in Ashton Vale he can use for free, with a little less walking time.

They also didn’t have the now obligatory player lying horizontally on the ground.
Although perhaps they knew the likely trajectory of their former player’s effort.
well then they should have warned their fans in row W

on a similar note, did anyone else notice the weird wall set up by QPR, for Nahki's free kick, which is still travelling incidentally. It was so far off center, it literally gave him the whole goal to aim at, although I suppose the keeper wasn't unsighted. Just looked strange.

Where are these holes cut ?
And are they cheaper in the club shop as they less material and more holes therefore less sock ?
No. Polo mints are no cheaper than mint imperials.

So in the summer we should all just not renew and instead buy u12 season tickets instead, pay a tenner to upgrade to an adults shirt and the club will be happy with me attending 23 games for basically nothing as long as we buy some beers?
Sorry but I don't agree with your analysis. The South stand is sold out.
Whilst the people getting in for free may not buy a season ticket or buy a potd ticket in the SS, many others would but are currently unable to due to the SS being 'sold out' so there is a direct loss of income that a freeloader isn't going to be making up for by buying a few beers.
You're making the assumption that if that seat was sold as an adult season ticket then that adult STH wouldn't buy food or drinks too. You're also making an assumption that the freeloader is buying food and drinks.
That freeloader would need to spend over 20 quid a game to make up for the lost season ticket money and then however much on top of that which an adult season ticket holder would spend.
A freeloader isn't spending that kind of money on food and drink I'll tell you that now!
It's nonsense to suggest the club would be happy to lose 400 quid in season ticket money because someone may buy a few beers.
Dont agree, and I know the club dont, or certainly didnt a few years ago. Think about it simply. If they were to open up a gate and let 50 people in who normally wouldnt attend for whatever reason, it costs the club nothing. Zero. How much will those 50 people spend at the kiosks? All profit. Remember that kids seat is going to be empty anyway, so no spend there. So its in the clubs interest for a beer guzzling adult to fill it.

I've been saying this all season.
There needs to be a use it or lose it policy.
As the club provides an option to upgrade the kids shirt to an adults shirt for a tenner then they should look into those that have upgraded the shirt and how many games that u12 ST has been used. If there is a correlation between the two as I suspect there is then send a warning letter and then if it continues to not be used then cancel it.
I'm also aware of adults using the u12s ST so more robust checks need to be done at the turnstiles and if an adult is found go be using that season ticket then it should be cancelled.
The club would rather these kids tickets were used by an adult, rather than that adult not turning up at all. From the horses mouth. (Forgive the pun)

Remember too, be careful about the snapshots at certain times.
Some games people pour in after kick-off.
There is an exodus 5, 10 mins from halftime not including stoppage time.
Then people are still pouring in after the start of the 2nd half. Queues for beer, toilet, finishing pints etc.
Hence it can mislead but clearly there are a % of no shows for every game too.
Which is why they shouldnt show the game on the concourse tellys.

Haven't heard it before - was it original, or is this a chant other fans have used against Southampton, or even one used in the PL to ridicule Spurs?
Not for 25 games they havent.

Nope. Super Bowl is on so I’m up late.
We did get this one going fairly well in the East End circa mid 2010’s :
Kick it in the goal, kick it in the goal. Come on City, Come on City, kick it in the goal.
Or how about :
We’ll be running round the rovers with our willies hanging out, we’ll be running round the rovers with our willies hanging out. We’ll be running round the rovers, running round the rovers, running round the rovers with our willies hanging out. Singing I’ve got a bigger one than you. Singing I’ve got a bigger one than you.
Singing I’ve got a bigger, I’ve got a bigger, I’ve got a bigger one than you. Ooh aahDoesnt ooh aah, sound so much better than you c***s

Thought he was excellent WITH the ball today. Seemed to want to attack his man and with success too. Has developed into a very tidy Championship performer.
Where has the real George Tanner gone? Up until around 2 months ago, he was hesitant andnegative going forward. Since then, and certainly since McCrorie returned he has , without doubt been our most improved player. Well done that man.

Yes i realise that but if your 4 nil down wouldnt it be beneficial for the players to all kick off to try and get Sin Binned to get the match abandoned
No, Neil you tried that before with Sheffield Utd.

I thought attendances were on the up? Every club is trying to increase it's capacity in some way.
Every game being on the telly or streamed is certainly not helping that though.

I read today that the Rugby Union bosses have advised football to think very, very carefully before they introduce the sin bin idea.

I think Joe has been playing well all season, although for some perhaps it’s been noticeable under LM. Had an injury (calf)neither side of the manager change, but I think he gives us something different, and is in his peak years.
I think he’s proved he’s over the hamstring injuries and would give good balance to the rest of the midfield next season…which will be a young central-midfield.
Williams (27 at start of season)
Knight (22)
Gardner-Hickman (22)
Bird (23)
Murphy (19)
+++++
Benarous (21)
Taylor-Clarke (20)
Backwell (21)
+++++
not included Stokes as I don’t see him playing any deeper roles, expect Kadji, James and King to be released, nor the wide midfielders.
But the 5 above is a good core imho.
Do you see Naismith as primarily a centre back?

Mate, if you havent posted your Valentine card by now, it aint gonna get there.
