I don't think I'd pick either to be honest! Don't think Henderson is really pulling up any more trees at Ajax than he was in Saudi Arabia, though appreciate Gareth does like a holding midfielder so he has to take someone. Be great if we had another solid option at CB so Stones could play DM regularly/ when injury permits.
I think that Trent will be in the Euro's squad as a midfield player.

What a bizarre year for cancelled fixtures. Can't remember a season like it. Plymouth Parkway now playing their next 2 home fixtures at Yate's stadium.

Chippenham beating Yeovil 3-1 away.

Just can’t warm to the bloke. It’s not his fault really. Should never have been given the job. I want him & tinnion gone but would never want us to lose a game . **** knows who would take over as caretaker boss if he did
Would be LJ no doubt

Paulton lost at home to Bashley 2-1. Looks ever increasingly likely they will be relegated. Desperately need a striker in ASAP.

Just seeing the text stuff in the last few mins.
Ian like a big baby - “Nigel Pearson fanboys”, that’s all he can use to rationalise his outdated views on football.
See he has protected his tweets again now. Prob getting some grief on there.

Listen, it’s not beyond the realms of possibility that they’d appoint LJ as interim until the end of the season, they're that stupid.
Of course the Lansdown's would have LJ back, they didn't want to get rid in the first place..

FWIW I don’t think it was Ian who tweeted about the 1-yr trigger, it was someone replying to him.
Yeah did say that on original post Dave.

When the club went for our disabled fans 5 years ago, I handed my ST back and have not been to AG since. The club have treated fans very poorly for a long time. Sadly its taken bad football to make people angry. Don't renew, don't go.
As I have said before I had been going for over 40 years, every home game and about 15 aways a season, when SL said his "it's my club speech".
Haven't been since and won't until SL and his hangers on have gone.
By then it will be difficult to return as I love the non league scene now where I know that my presence is appreciated.

Was just looking through twitter and a thread where our friend Ian G was making an excuse for only having 7 subs. Said it was Manning sending messages to the board. However somebody on the thread said that Matty James is not injured and inferred that if he made 1 more appearance it would trigger a 1 year extension to his contract.
Anybody know if there is any truth in this ?

Massive loss for Manor Farm, Owen Brain gone to Gloucester City. One of, if not the best player at Manor Farms level.

He was supposed to have been in the sky studio for the Southampton game but Jason Euell stepped in to cover. Hope all is ok with NP.

Exmouth come from behind to beat Bashley.
Now 2 points behind Paulton
Bashley are 3rd bottom with 2 games in hand on both and 7 clear of Paulton.
Paulton announced Richard Fey as new manager. Not gone down too well with a section of support as the last time he was in charge at Paulton he upset a lot of supporters and the senior players. Bit of a controversial appointment let's say.
Exmouth seem to be getting their act together and Paulton really need another couple of defenders in pronto to stand any chance.

He is struggling to get minutes in our under 21s at the moment, can't see him getting many starts at Bath...

I put this in the "Sid out" topic but may e should go in here
I'll be honest in that I'm not liking anything around our club at the moment, it's a circus ran by clowns, backstabbers and liars
But ......
Yeboah was nowhere near the level of player we need at this present time (nor is Dire) but that's another argument!
He is just 17 years old, he was used by Nige as "needs must" during that horrific injury crisis, he can train here, play here in midweek matches and play for Bath on the weekend, I believe he could come on leaps and bounds for this loan
Hopefully he gets game time at Bath, there have been plenty of our youngsters gone there over the past 2 or 3 seasons just to sit on the bench.

Signed a stack of players for league 1 title win, then tried to sign a stack of players who were well out of our reach….gayle gray etc. remember it well.
And got the money back by selling Baldock.

I hate to say it, but things are looking ominous for Paulton despite their point advantage over Exmouth
Yep Tooze calling out players on twitter tonight. A lot of them are his signings. Not going to end well. Western league tour incoming.

Paulton lost 6-2 again. Exmouth were 4-0 up late on. Paulton in big trouble, can't see them staying up.

Good day for the footy managers. Sir Alex had shares in 2 of the winners and Harry Redknapp owned another.
Better day for the English trained horses.
