Not really. I think Walsall were quite hard done by to lose by two goals. They dominated possession for parts of the game
Can't remember Walsall having one chance inside the area, only long range stuff, they worked hard but never really threatened.

I didn't hear it at the time but it sounds on here like Ayling was getting booed. If that was the case I feel a bit sorry for him as he's the type of player who always gives his all and certainly did well for Yeovil
It was the fact he decided to join TBCUTR (The Big Club Up The Road) as they call us, that is what a Yeovil supporting mate said. Anyone but us and he wouldn't have been booed apparently!!

Korey Smith to score at any time tonight. Just heard an interview with him and he scored their for both Oldham and Norwich. First league goal of the season awaits!!

has smith scored with his feet yet or have they all been headers?
Yes his 2nd goal at Gillingham in the league

Yea because Bradford and MK dons are clearly shit.
Well Gary "i need 3 players to be competitive" Johnson's team easily disposed of Bradford today and MK are so inconsistant season in season out. I agree Posh will be up their with the likes of PNE, Sheff U and ourselves.
-
No Peterborough had a significantly weaker side out.
I disagree, Peterborogh seem to be beating teams comfortably this season, without fuss or struggle....we are scraping through games (which certainly isn't a bad thing) based on hard work and that little bit of luck.
While we were te better side today. I do think S****horpe if equalised at 1-0 could easiy came away with a point....similar to last week at Notts.
We aren't putting teams away yet, we are winning ugly...unlike the 2 teams I mentioned.
Only decent team they have played were Sheff Utd who turned them over!!

Fancy a win today and a goal for Cunningham. He does tend to get into some very good goalscoring positions when playing the wing back role.
-
Why is when we try to rough teams up early we always pick up a booking, whereas other teams don't seem to. We obviously haven't got the knack!!
-
Yeah you would have thought so. Strange thinking from SC tonight. Hope it works though.
Cotterill would have worked with the team for the last couple of days, Wade Elliott only signed early afternoon so would not have worked at our system. Will be in on Saturday i would imagine along with Reid and JET. Having seen Brentford's pitch on Friday night it was really heavy and bobbly, not a pitch where JET and Reid would be at there best on but i do agree it is a big risk.

Would rather see osbourne at the back and AEA in rwb spot. AEA too suseptable to balls over the top like at mk dons.
After one game for us and at the most one training session? Let's give the bloke a chance to settle eh?

Well 2 of his 14 have been pens so that leaves 12 from open play. I can only think of 2 one-on-ones he's scored - at Tranmere and MK.
Weren't both of his goals away to MK one on one's plus his first goal on Saturday?

Highest football league ground above sea level?
The Hawthorns i believe.
-
Misread the question - is it Darren Bent?
I think it is Marcus Bent, think he has played for the most premier league clubs and being a striker you would have hoped scored for the most.

Dennis wise is the only player to have won the FA cup in 3 different decades. (Wimbledon x1, Chelsea x2)
Tony Adams is the only player to Captain a title winning team in 3 different decades.
The 1950 world cup is the only one not to have had a final. Instead the winner was decided by a second group (consisting of the 4 winners of the first round groups) the winner of which won the world cup.
Tottenham Hotspur is the only club in the football league whose full name ends with the letter r. (I'm assuming this is still correct- it was a few years back but I can't be bothered to check! It catches a lot of people out as they think it ends with s.)
3 Scotsman have played in Serie A. Dennis Law, Graeme Souness and (of Course) Joe Jordan.
There are also only 3 ROI players to have done so but unfortunately I can't remember one of them... Robbie Keane and Liam Brady are 2 of the 3.....
Had to google it but the other Republic of Ireland player was Ronnie O'Brien!

Well done let's drive another player out of the club. Still too much negativity in our fan base which is why as a club we will never move forward. On the same point the booing at half time was cringeworthy!!

By the sounds of it, looking for first team football on a regular basis. Who is dropped then? We have waggy or Moloney at right back who both deserve to keep their role and our three cb's who deserve to keep their place atm. I can't see who he would replace?
Agree the 3 centre backs have been playing well but none of them are what i would call a leader. This is something that has been missing in recent seasons and i would be very surprised if the rumour of him becoming captain isn't true. Waggy couldn't play right back (wing back yes) and i think Moloney is too lightweight and gets pushed off the ball too easily when playing right back. If we went back to a back 4 i would expect Osborne to play right back

Seems strangr were discussing a deal with forest to extend gillets loan if when everyone is fit he is only on the bench. Thought we were going to sign players that are better than we already have, hence Barnett coming in and Taylor leaving.
Would have started gillet today.
Marv had his best game of the season last Saturday, would have been harsh to leave him out imo. Perhaps Bradford are a big tall team and Marv is in there to help counter this.

lets invite pressure with that sub
reid should have stayed
The thing Bobby needs to work on is his stamina. His legs have usually gone around the 70 min mark.

Asked the same question over the weekend. Needless to say, nobody answered.
You're right though, the fans that want rid of the board need to make themselves heard. Get in the car park outside the Williams on a Saturday, protest and make feelings known. I got involved when we were trying to oust Russe and his cronies.
Easier to do it on here though.
Somebody i know was ejected from the lower Williams on Saturday for telling the Lansdown's what he thought of them!!

I really can't see what Elliott has done wrong today to get all of the criticism on here!! Just suits some peoples agendas i suppose!

Want to see jet up top with baldock and Reid come on for Taylor to slot in to head of the diamond. Also want to see burns on for wagstaff
Why would you do that when the only threat Tamworth have is long throws etc. We are comfortable and Taylor is doing is job defending the set pieces. How would Bobby help in that respect?

Even though we have been successful using our wingback system we will need a plan b. I am sure SC is aware that most teams in the championship last season played with a back 4 and only one striker. If we needed to switch to that system then we would need genuine attacking wide players. Murphys 9 goals in 39 was not too shabby in my opinion for a wide player.
