There is a law that referees adhere to and that is Bristol City must not be given a penalty under any circumstances.

Out of interest, any idea if the match is on the red button?
Yes it is.

Was speaking to the one of the officials who was officiating at the HPC for our under 18's against Cardiff on Saturday. He said the Cardiff front 3 were unplayable at times. Cardiff won 5-0. On a side note he was very impressed with the facilities and playing surface.

I wonder if Matty Taylor is quaking in his boots having to face the travelling hoardes in the FA Cup ?

I was there today, decent little game. Lashenko in the dugout and applauded by BMF fans at the end who also sang "no-one likes us, we are Manor Farm, from The Creek"!
Pen decisions seemed fair though the ref was a bit card happy.
2 and 11 did have a proper row early doors, but the highlight was no. 11 getting told off by his missus for abusing the ref, literally never seen that before
Yeah saw the 11 getting told off by his missus.

What were the penalty calls like? Saw Farm had 2, 2nd resulted in a red for Paulton but not sure if that was a 2nd yellow for someone.
Was Lashenko in the dugout? He must surely have had a ban, but perhaps the decision on his punishment hasn't been made yet.
Both pens in my opinion, same Paulton player booked in both incidents, bit harsh as they were both slightly mis-timed challenges. Yeah Lashenko was in the dugout so can't have been a ban imposed yet..

Manor farm won 3-1. Prob better team on the day, just as Paulton were last week. Think there was 8 yellow and 1 red. Lost count in the end.

Lashenko got his team fired up. Querying every and I mean every decision. Even heated discussions amongst themselves. Numbers 2 and 11 had a real slanging match early in the game. Been 6 bookings so far. 3 each I think. Score is one each at half time.

Manor Farm are a cup team, that is all they worry about. Don't know if it still the case but Lashenko used to contribute a lot towards the players wages. The difference between winning and losing on Saturday was something in the region of £1400. Anyway Paulton v Manor Farm in the league on Saturday, can Paulton make it 3 wins against BMF in 12 days after the 2 cup wins.

They don't like losing to the villagers do they ?

But correct calls from the ref that weaker ones wouldn't have necessarily given.
Fair play to her.
Indeed agree completely. Pathetic from Stones and Sancho tbf.

2 absolutely pointless bookings for England.

Top of the table game.
Cardiff played 5 and won 5
City played 6 and won 5
Watched both teams in pre season and the difference was immeasurable. City streets ahead of Cardiff on what I saw. Be interesting to see if any of the 1st team squad have been playing for Cardiff in their League games. Apart from 1 game our teams have been very young.

I will never understand how Tyrone Mings is always chosen in England squads. Quite a few better than him imo
Not even the best English centre back at Villa. Konsa is better imo. Being left footed is the only reason I can think of for him being picked.

Millwalls game management is killing the game big time. Every decision there are a couple of players around the ref disguising the time wasting. Using a towel to dry the ball with no intention of taking a long throw. Need a strong ref..
-
Jed Wallace only fit enough for the bench for Millwall. Positive for us..
-
Good decision to give Cam Pring a "rest". Coming along nicely but time for a break for him.

The basement League is so very poor, they are only 4 points off a play off spot.

What’s the average?
No idea. I know a few years ago when sky used to show the figures it was around 60 mins, which to me was still on the low side. You pay more and more for less and less action these days..
