I have missed something? One of the stand out performers at the start of season. Appreciate he got injured but at the saying goes, if you are fit enough to be on the bench then you are fit enough to start. So why isn’t he?

Better bringing the ball out of defence than actually defending for me. Has some flaws that he needs to work on in his defensive side of the game.

  2. There are a lot of stats punters out there and they will be all over this come the weekend. (City's record at Craven Cottage in recent times). Friday / Saturday when these stats are usually well advertised, I would expect the odds for a City win to be shorter than they are now come kick off time on Saturday.

I know someone who has been referee at a couple of Cardiff under 18's games including against City where they bagged 6. He reckons they are very impressive, I wonder if some of those are playing for the Cardiff under 23 team.

It'll be interesting to see how Soady develops.

I'm not suggesting for a minute he is a solution right now  - I think he's actually on loan at Paulton, even though he's playing for us - but I'd imagine the club's view of his development would have an impact on how we went about replacing Dasilva, in the sense of whether we want a stop gap for 18 months or someone who can challenge for left back alongside Pring or LWB alongside O'Dowda for the foreseeable future.

Soady playing today as Paultons game at Taunton tonight has been called off.

Not sure, if I had money on someone doing that in time I’d think Andy King is the more likely.

Simpson already does media stuff for BT, doesn’t he?

Simpson has yes been doing media stuff for BT when Leicester have been playing in Europe. And the last European Leicester game King was in the sky sports studio.

    Matchday experience???

This. He is always with the match day squad as back up keeper in case anything happens to Max or Bents so why not reward him when there are 9 subs.

What is the thinking behind Dasilva at RWB….I guess I should listen to the podcast!  Smacks a bit of square pegs / round holes, doesn’t it?

I don’t expect you’ll be a million miles away with that.  One could argue you’ve got our best 11 players (fit players) onto the pitch in a formation that we know each of them can play.

I really liked Kalas and Pring’s ability / mobility when made to mark wide yesterday.

Agree Dave and Atkinson looked safer as the centre of the 3.

Anyone watching, keep an eye on Tyreece Simpson.
I’ve seen him a couple of times this season and he looks a handful. Still quite raw but a real good looking prospect.
Unfortunately owned by Ipswich tho ?

Looking at City's team, I doubt he will get many touches of the ball Harry.

There’s quite a love in for Cundy for some reason by a few posters on here. Are we expecting him to make the step up? Has he consistently performed whilst out on loan? I’m expecting prime Beckenbauer.

No love in from me. Thought he had a good loan at Gillingham in League one last season. Big first ball winning centre back, interested to see if he can make the step up.

  10. Looks like a Wright v Price final. Price not been at his best yet but usually improves through the tournament. Quite a few Pro tour events this season he has averaged low to mid 90's in the early rounds and then 106-110 in the semis and finals. And Wright also has that extra gear when required.
