Reading have very attacking team out. Can see goals a plenty in this match.
-
Pring left midfield I reckon, Weimann right midfield in a 4-4-2.

No Pearson tonight.

The commentator on the Bournemouth v Boreham Wood game is getting fed up with having to say "I have been told to apologise for the bad language picked up by our pitchside mics". Must have had to say it half a dozen times already this half.

City to score 3 or more goals today.

How is Jai Semenyo looking? Is he a fullback?
Did see a tweet that he went off injured in the 1st half

Should be a good test today. Was told by someone that has officiated at 3 Cardiff Under 18 games that they are a very good side and believe like us a lot of them also play for the under 23's

Sounds like Pitman is moving on already.

Don't let the late goal change the view of how well we played. We are a work in progress. This is a 3 year project. I for one believe in the process.

That we can play an 18 and 20 year old in midfield against a physically imposing and heavy running Luton and we control a lot of the game tonight. Credit to HNM and Scott, they did really well in there tonight.
Another glimpse of what Williams can bring though in his 15 minute cameo too. Need to take it easy with him though.
Thought Vyner had a good game too. His tenacity against their strike pair resulted in lots of balls win back, often with the two youngsters nipping the loose ball away.
I think Weimann just mistimed his header, turned his head just too early. Angle virtually impossible for Wells, he wasn’t heading it across for Nahki, he was trying to score.
O’Dowda good first half too, as did Dasilva, who generally had a tidy game.
Dasilva had a decent game Dave, he wasn't staying as a wing back in the first half, he was also moving narrow to help Scott / Massengo. Almost like the position Walker / Cancelo take up for Man City when they are dominating a game. It is part of the reason we were winning the ball back so easily in first half.

If I have one small criticism it is we are still too nice. Late challenge on Kalas a minute ago, he doesn't make anything of it so ref doesn't give foul ball goes up in the air Martin challenges their centre back in air, big scream from their lad and coaching staff, free kick given.

I thought I heard earlier we were going to get over run in midfield....

Well, we have to trust Pearson's judgement, but I hope this won't be one we end up regretting.
I get the feeling if Pearson had been our manager in L1 days, he'd have got rid of JET.
Think it is the case that NP sees more in Bell, Conway, Janneh etc. Those 3 are all in the same bracket as Britton and those are the one's the club have decided to develop moving forward.

He has been banned for 12 games

Does anyone know if Williams played the full 90 minutes? And if he had a decent game?
Assumed that it was Nathaniel Williams and not Joe. Not sure if it was.

Wasn't Atkinson supposed to be this player?
Atkinson isn't a first ball winning centre back in my opinion.

Possibly but I think they will give it to big Dunc until the end of the season.

Was just looking at the Stoke squad and imagine that a couple may have to go either perm or loan. Now I am not in the we need a new forward camp, but if the club were, I would be looking at someone like Sam Surridge at Stoke. Just looking back through and only getting a few minutes here and there. They bought it from Bournemouth for £5m. He is on the bench today along with fellow forwards Steven Fletcher and highly rated Tyres Campbell. So they have plenty of options so can't see Surridge getting much game time there.

Wow just wow Antoine
