See they have splashed the cash again today, just like dopey said they would. Some QPR backup keeper who i haven't heard of on loan til the end of the season.

I think the key for us tonight now that we are playing two up top is to get Tammy getting in behind their CBs - no good playing two and them both playing back to goal. Wilbs to run himself into the ground for 60-65 minutes.
Glad Golbourne back at LB.
Can't see there being too much room in behind there defence, as centrally they are very slow. I think they will defend really deep.

Interestingly we are now favourites to win tonight with most of the major bookies. Ipswich's price has been drifting all day long which suggests all is not well in the home camp...

I have always said that there are 2 sets of support in Bristol. Us city fans and then there are anti-city fans, these are the fans that the gas claim as their own!!
-
So unprofessional by Flint there, made the referees decision for him!

Got a feeling that Magnusson may be moved to left back today, and that Taylor Moore will come in alongside Flint. Further forward i would expect Freeman (or possibly O'Dowda) to come into the team to ensure we have width. The problem i find with Patterson, is that he keeps wanting to move inside and all he does is congest things and makes us easy to defend against.

Al Wally is the co-commentator at the rovers game on radio Bristol this afternoon. Talk about having an ego!!

Can't drop Goldbourne, he's been excellent so far
Got to agree with this, also playing Joe Bryan further forward on the left, gives you the option to push him back into midfield if we are getting "overrun" in there like we did versus Villa last time out.

See that Mustapha Carayol has signed for Forest from Boro. Wasn't he the one that was in watching the gas pre-season, and all of them said he was going to re-sign for them?

Just noticed who they've got last two games, the bottom already relegated two.
Both who have had decent results recently. York beat Pompey last week and Dagenham & Redbridge went to Plymouth and won today. Not over yet.

I have this fear they will lose in the playoffs to Accrington Stanley and I'll have painful sides all summer.
With the added bonus of Josh (the son of their hero Dean) Windass getting the winner. Just imagine that!!!

The worrying thing is this is an out of form Burnley yet they have totally dominated the 1st 45 mins.
-
See that Chesham got beat at bottom of the table Paulton Rovers today.

Travelled up yesterday, it is safe to say the locals are super confident about today. Hopefully a little too confident!!

Wish I had popped over now!!

Even though we have been successful using our wingback system we will need a plan b. I am sure SC is aware that most teams in the championship last season played with a back 4 and only one striker. If we needed to switch to that system then we would need genuine attacking wide players. Murphys 9 goals in 39 was not too shabby in my opinion for a wide player.
-
Not really. I think Walsall were quite hard done by to lose by two goals. They dominated possession for parts of the game
Can't remember Walsall having one chance inside the area, only long range stuff, they worked hard but never really threatened.

I didn't hear it at the time but it sounds on here like Ayling was getting booed. If that was the case I feel a bit sorry for him as he's the type of player who always gives his all and certainly did well for Yeovil
It was the fact he decided to join TBCUTR (The Big Club Up The Road) as they call us, that is what a Yeovil supporting mate said. Anyone but us and he wouldn't have been booed apparently!!

Korey Smith to score at any time tonight. Just heard an interview with him and he scored their for both Oldham and Norwich. First league goal of the season awaits!!

has smith scored with his feet yet or have they all been headers?
Yes his 2nd goal at Gillingham in the league

Yea because Bradford and MK dons are clearly shit.
Well Gary "i need 3 players to be competitive" Johnson's team easily disposed of Bradford today and MK are so inconsistant season in season out. I agree Posh will be up their with the likes of PNE, Sheff U and ourselves.
-
No Peterborough had a significantly weaker side out.
I disagree, Peterborogh seem to be beating teams comfortably this season, without fuss or struggle....we are scraping through games (which certainly isn't a bad thing) based on hard work and that little bit of luck.
While we were te better side today. I do think S****horpe if equalised at 1-0 could easiy came away with a point....similar to last week at Notts.
We aren't putting teams away yet, we are winning ugly...unlike the 2 teams I mentioned.
Only decent team they have played were Sheff Utd who turned them over!!

Don't think I would leave Tammy out of the starting line up. Keeper and Tammy in for Frank Fielding and Gustav i would think.
