Watched Yate on Saturday - didn’t look like scoring if they’d been there all week.

I’m assuming that tit Tooze gave it large at the final whistle

No kept it quite restrained really. Thought he might have given it large TBF. The biggest tit on the day was Tovey on the Yate bench, non stop querying every decision. Not too sure what the financial situation is like at Yate now but if the best back up striker they can get is Jack Ball things must be bad. Hadn't heard is name on the circuit last 18 months or so but he looked a couple of stone too heavy.

Oli Jenkins of Yate best player on the pitch by some distance.

Bobby is an interesting one.  You could see he had technique but he didn’t seem to physically develop for ages which probably delayed his progress.  LJ discovered his super power (? by accident) when he moved him up front - he’s one of the best pressers I’ve ever seen.

Definitely by accident. He was on his way out of the club and was used as a striker in pre season as a filler as we had no one else available.

If you’ve ever watched a betting site live, you get a pitch view and realtime feed of where the ball is and behind has it. I imagine that was one of the team feeding the betting companies.

Yeah sounds like it, used to chat to one of the guys that did it who sat at the back of the Williams stand. And yes they could become distracted, he said that the main thing from betting point of view is to suspend the betting if something major happens i.e. goal, penalty etc so won't be entirely accurate.

Worth bunking off school for that one

Yeah likewise. I was 11 then and went on a coach from our area with my parents. We usually had one coach for all of the away games in the old first division but we had four for this game. I know people were struggling for coaches and every available one was snaffled up. Great day out and the last 10 mins or so of the game was like nothing seen before or since 🤣

Correct me if I'm wrong, but when Pearson came in until the end of the season, before he got his 3 year contract, I think we amassed something like 9pts from 14 games. I was actually surprised having lost 9 of 14 games in charge of us, he was actually given a long term contract, so given Manning is on 4pts from 5 games, he is still well on target to amassing more points from his first 14 games, than Pearson done in his. Far too early to be criticising Manning.

Whilst I agree to an extent LM is starting from a lot better base than NP had.

Funny how several have appeared in the last 24 hours.

And all of the original one's that joined just before NP going are no longer around. They just wheel them out to sign up new accounts when they need them.

I walked away from the club when LJ was put in charge, 45 years of home and away travel.

i don’t regret it for a moment, the club couldn’t care less about the support they get, it’s all about the control those at the top have/want.

Obviously I still read the forum, I see how angry and frustrated everyone is, well, you have a choice, stop going like I did, you will start enjoying your football again.

There is plenty of football out there to watch and enjoy, I can vouch for that.

I did the same after the SL "it's my club I will do what I want" speech when LJ was on one of his losing runs. I had a season ticket for 48 years from the age of 6. Went to most away games back in the day for best part of 20 years.

I too really enjoy the local non league football scene now where I know that my money is appreciated greatly.

I may return to AG if and when the Lansdowns / Bristol Sport have gone but with each passing year it will get more difficult.

Still watch / listen to games when I can and City will always be in my blood but I will not return until they have gone.

Mate over from the Netherlands. He wanted to see a local team, Yate called off so I'll be forgiven for taking him to the Mem.

Rovers are absolutely terrible, Darrell Clarke had a better reception than Matt Taylor, prowd fans booed them off at half time

And to think some of our fans fancy this league again, it's utter toilet

How did you get tickets at such short notice? Surely the Gloucestershire derby was a sell out!!

What you mean it did not sell out..
