Didn't his cousin Juan make numerous appearances for the Gas?......

Some fantastic work - thanks to all for sharing.
Personally I give up on trying to work out what's actually going on in their heads.
I fear for young Manning. No doubt he is ambitious, and ordinarily it might be exciting to have a young manager with fresh ideas and energy coming into the club.
But it doesn't feel like that, does it?
He deserves our full support, and I hope he gets it - and goes on to be the most successful manager/head coach in the Club's history.
It's just the others isn't it?.........

Lansdown Hargreaves gets a square too.

On the subject of no blue, it's good to see that the new edition of Bristol Monopoly does not include the Gas, but does include us of course - and Bristol Manor Farm.

Why wasn't nigel given money it's not fair in 3 2 1....
For me, that particular criticism around the Scott money, hides a more profound resentment that after two decades of Lansdown ownership, AFC Bournemouth fans can joke about Bristol City FC being a feeder club for them.....

The massive gamble is the sacking of Pearson IMO (and team), not necessarily the appointment of Manning.
Best of luck to him though, really liked what I heard from him today and despite the crap that JL/BT came out with about budgets, injuries and promotion, my expectations for this season have not changed one bit. Top half and I’ll be content.
Clearly the “promotion” stick will be used to beat him, and some posters can’t wait to use it, so just a reminder…..it wasn’t Manning that sacked Pearson
Well said Kibs. Sums things up nicely.

I think you are getting the words mixed up.
You said, 'high expectations' where it is more like hope than expectations.
No. I'm good with the original post thanks. Appreciate you responding though.
Onwards and upwards - I hope.

Are they?
They have to be, given the circumstances. Not a reflection on him, I wish him every success, and would like nothing more than to see City in the Premier League.

Welcome to Bristol City Liam, and I wish you all the best at Ashton Gate.
Expectations are high.

Was at the 1-1 draw in the fog. It didn’t get abandoned. Should have, couldn’t see bugger all. Fans behind the goal asking Andy Leaning what was going on
Yes, I was there too. Didn't know we'd scored until celebrating players appeared through the fog?

I'd much prefer "Players to be in form for the rest of the season".

Might take a while mind....."

Come on City!!!

Should be a loud show of support for the team, throughout the game. Probably won't pan out like that though.

I'm never quite sure we should be so proud we were in the bottom divisions so often to be able to enter
Given us some great days out though, hasn't it?

Well, if it's a big name we're looking for, let's recruit from within.
