  1. You know the saying "You can't bullshit a bullshitter" - Well Mr Barton has disproved that theory pretty quickly!!!! He literally reeks of it doesn't he, no wonder they've taken to him quite well....
  2. Of course Sir. These will be on sale priced £8.99 per plate from the portaloo near the players entrance after the game. Be sure to be quick, as they're proving a popular line!!
  3. Very true, but if anybody is likely to call him out for being a fraud you would have to think it would be Jailhouse Joey
  4. Hopefully the nice man with the watch ?
  5. Thought that was when they were relegated to division 5? Was it not the best thing that could have happened to them according to their deluded rabble? So by that account, should it not be the great resetting of the reset?
  6. Well if there's one set of fans that would know something about those kind of videos......
  7. Didn't somebody say the other day that they thought somebody had gone "undercover" as they had found someone talking sense and criticising, whilst confusing the mods by using a sag user name? That would further back that theory up to be fair...
  8. Didn't realise there was a law against it
  9. Jesus christ, this is one reason why people don't like him - people get sick of hearing about him and their liking/tolerance of him drops a level. He's been gone 8 months or so and there's still people arguing over Lee bloody Johnson. He's gone, did ok on the whole but it was time for him to go. He got paid very well for doing a semi decent job, and would have been paid pretty well in compensation for doing a pretty crap job which lead to his dismissal! Good luck to him, but personally couldn't give a flying monkies nut what happens to him at Sunderland or wherever his next job may be.
  10. Someone should suggest that they "forget" to bring a kit and have to "borrow" one from their opponents on the final day....
  11. On the Filton roundabout on the a38? The Air Balloon pub? Far as I'm aware that's the closest one, and only know that place as the wife used to live in the student flats above what used to be Blockbusters and Motaman. God knows what's there now, just know they sold all the flats off and did them up to a fairly high spec.
  12. We go (or at least try) to Looe once a year, and from there go off to a few different places around Cornwall on daytrips. If you like an area that much, then why not? We also try to go to a few different areas at different points in the year (maybe not so much now as we have the dog and baby), but never enjoy it as much as Cornwall/Looe. Some people prefer to go abroad every year, some stay in the UK, some will go to one place once, and never go back again. From the sounds of it you're in the latter group, that's fine if that's what you prefer. Also for different people, their needs/requirements will be different, and perhaps a specific area/Park/accommodation is a perfect setup for them. For @Davefevs his requirements will be more specific than for me and my family. With that in mind this year we're taking my mum and dad away with us as it will be their 40th anniversary, in the same week it will be our 11th. My dad can't walk far, mum had a stroke a few years ago, and as a result she can't walk far now either, in fact uses a scooter most of the time if she's out for a prolonged amount of time. The place we are going, we all like, all know, and although it's not on the flat exactly, they can still get about the site. We also know that they can cater for their needs as well as ours by having a fully accessible caravan. That's one reason we usually go there when we do go to Looe.
  13. Gas head bit her on the ankle after declaring herself a red. Rabies shot and a holiday was the result of it.
  14. Boot it up the middle of the park, otherwise known as lumping it?
  15. It's just so easy to take the piss though
  16. They haven't started yet then? Oh yeah forgot, they don't do that do they
  17. I'd argue that they're punching well above their weight/level. The facilities are conference standard at best, and even then that's doing some of the conference sides an injustice. The average attendance (we know despite them bleating on about how good it is) is shocking for a club that claims they are "so well supported", and is in fairness inline with a 4th division club (or league 2 in new money). They measure their success on how bad we are doing. Hop around from one ground to another, then moan when the council won't give them a new ground for free. Their biggest recent success is when Dean Windass scored in the playoff final to stop us getting to the Prem. I'm only in my mid 30's, but as I'm getting older the number of sags I know of and see around on social media are just getting needier and more pathetic. In comparison I do know a few that I can have a good laugh with, and are realistic (a rare commodity). They're punching well above their weight, and always have done. We've had relatively little success in comparison to some clubs of a similar size, but they've had even less.
  18. **** this, I'm going to plead guilty now and get the sentencing sorted ASAP. Hopefully they'll put me away until this watertight contract runs out.
  19. Carry on the same way they've been going and he'll accomplish that pretty easily.
  20. Sags: We got Joey Barton, yea big name dat is, played at da top level an' ev'ryfin. Gonna be on da sports pages tomorrow! Steve L: I don't bloody think so, give Nigel what he wants and not only can he sort out the shit we've seen recently, he can put those stupid sags back in their box!
  21. Oh, I didn't realise there were 2 clubs in Bristol. This one's a bit shit.....
  22. Perhaps Wally is going to pay to have his fantastic lawyers represent him.....
  23. Well we all know how much their supporters like hitting horses, what's the bets their new manager does that within 4 weeks?
