  1. He's supposedly staying on as a consultant after the summer.
  2. I seem to recall one or two of our more "ambitious" posters touting him for the job here post-LJ.
  3. Mad innit. At least we only gave Deano a 12-month rolling contract.
  4. 4 and a half year deal for Heckingbottom. Blimey. I suspect he'll be earning a lot less than Jokanovic was but even so...
  5. Looking at social media the suggestion seems to be that he's asked for money to spend in January and been told that he isn't getting any.
  6. I liked "So Nigel, some momentum building now" Nige: "What, one game?"
  7. The funniest bit was, as Kalas was preparing to take a long throw, Goodman saying something like "there's no getting away from it, Stoke are a better team and have better players than Bristol City" (admittedly not unfair based on the play to that point). 10 seconds later, Bakinson had the ball in the net.
  8. I was expecting him to be subbed off after that and wouldn't have blamed Nige if he did, but he handled the remainder of the game really well and got better if anything.
  9. Depends on whether the home club choose to make it available.
  10. Jonny Smith has 2 for Burton.
  11. Goalfest in the Championship so far
  12. From memory Tinnion wasn't very happy about the reception he got, had a dig afterwards about Wilson being here 4 years and not getting us promoted.
  13. Might have to wait for a couple of years at least, but I reckon he'd be a good candidate for the OSIB lads to have a chat and a cider with.
  14. My first game was 1991 v Blackburn. Without checking, I would suspect it was Andy Llewellyn.
  15. Dasilva did more than enough during his loan spell to justify signing him permanently. Palmer not so much.
  16. Eesh, just seen the score. Though given the strength of the side today it's not as much of a shock as it would ordinarily be.
  17. Agreed. For all his flaws, I do believe that LJ genuinely cared about the club and was trying his best to make it successful. Ashton, on the other hand... I wouldn't wish him on the Gas.
  18. I must be missing something with Wells, because a lot of people have him flagged as one of the bad apples and I've genuinely not seen it. Of course he's on high wages with minimal resale value and might be difficult to move on, but that's a different argument entirely.
  19. He's still in the squad for the time being, although I doubt he'll last very long.
