  1. If they were going to an end of season team meal/party they would have used the team coach I would have thought, and left their luggage on it. They usually have food on the coach after the game and someone on board to prepare it for them, she wasn't needed today as so few players were expected to travel back.
  2. Probably one of the worst away performances I've seen this season. Even when we have lost we've been in the game and made a bit of a fight of it, not today. It's hard to believe Stoke have been around the relegation zone until recently. They played with confidence and drive that we lacked, cutting through our static players again and again. None of our players shone. Good job them all having such a collective 'off day' didn't matter as such.
  3. I've seen it happen a few times before yes. QPR away one season we had made our own way to London and not used the CATS coaches, so hung about a little after waiting for the crowds to go. The players all had their own luggage and were getting Ubers etc and heading to airports straight after the match. I was surprised there was no end of season debrief etc. I guess they holiday then return to collect their summer instructions before they holiday again and then return for pre season?
  4. I saw them get off the coach when they arrived, several of them had more than their usual overnight bags. Very few were apparently getting the team coach back to Bristol so I'm told, so guessing they are straight off to the airport with friends and families.
  5. Shocking and embarrassing. Making them look like world beaters
  6. I doubt it as isn't there £1000 fine for the club for each breach (don't think this includes post match promotion celebrations ). It will be in the Referee's report too. Everything however well meaning or 'fun' you might think it is has a cost and serious repurcussions to the club.
  7. Ha ha autocorrect
  8. And then the Dad seemed to be pleading with the stewards to let his son off, only then to start gesturing at the Rotherham fans when they rightly booked him. Embarrassing. Not to mention the other pitch invader later.
  9. The way the past couple of weeks have thrown up from freak results, I wouldn't be surprised if they get their first away win since November 2022!
  10. Just an aside, if anyone didn't know, Norwich is a bloody long way. We had to stop for an hour so the driver got his legal break, but are still half an hour away from AG. Lack of motorways has made it seem soooo long. Good job we weren't hammered
  11. Lately we have been seeing the player we thought we got from Wigan a couple of years ago.
  12. Lots of Norwich fans were telling us after how glad they were that we didn't have a striker that could put more of the chances we had away
  13. I like Twine, but have to agree. He isn't the player we saw in his first game for us either, he was exciting and creative. Either he hasn't recovered from his injury fully or we have coached it out of him?

I would agree. He should have used the best and most logical replacement available, and it looks like he didn't. As it was we had nothing to play for really, but he can't be making these decisions as standard when we start the new season. That's what is concerning me going forward.

I've just read the Manning quote saying about not playing King there ' not in my time here' or something like that. Am I reading too much into that or is there a slight dig at Pearson? Obviously King is such a Pearson player and he doesn't want to use him as Pearson did, but wants to find his own solution? Just seems a strange thing to say.

I agree with you there. No need to move so many players out of position at all.

Williams was clattered several times. Memetti was about to come on with Wells when Williams was injured so the bench delayed the decision until they decided what was happening with Williams. They gave it a few minutes but then subbed him off. I'm positive Williams was injured.

I don't think we would have got 90 (or 100) minutes out of him though?
  19. I couldn't see it from the Lansdown, but got to add that so many of the crowd in the South Stand corner shouted handball at the time I believed it was. It was an immediate shout, a reaction to what they saw ( or believed they saw) not just a hopeful shout to influence the Ref from what I could tell.
  20. Used to be a fine of £2,500 which seems fairly insignificant in the scheme of things
  21. Think some of Huddersfield's bench could be in trouble if she reports them for having a go at her as she left the pitch, lots of shouting and fingers in her face. Not nice.
