  1. I’m so hungry, could eat that. Match doesn’t sound great, might be the radio commentary. Holding our own away so that’s a positive. Missing Flint Edwards just said, well we got to move on from him and have known that for a while
  2. Exactly. I will admit I know little about their sponsor but seems to be some sort of Fantasy Football (imaginary game) type thing. I’m not overly impressed with our sponsor but at least it’s real even if it is betting.
  3. Thank you, as I said I’ve seen it mentioned a few times, probably by your good self. Your post makes a lot of sense. I’ve never been convinced by their intentions from the start and knowing how the club had to sell off its car park in the past for housing (?) believe it’s only a matter of time before it’s all gone. Looks like it’s going to be at the hands of their Messiah. I don’t really know whether to laugh or cry at them. Laugh I think as they were only too ready to stick the boot in when we were down.
  4. What’s the London office I have seen mentioned? Wally has a London office being paid for by the Gas?
  5. I think with this weather at least their Championship ready sprinklers are worth their weight in gold, if they can pay the water bill.
  6. I quite like the blending, but it certainly doesn’t work with quarters or the white box for the sponsor. I’d quite like that blending done properly for a red and quite shirt for us. Done right it would be pretty good I think. Or what about Purple and lime, black and white.
  7. They need a 100 companies interested in them for that to work.
  8. As others have pointed out, you are welcome on this forum unlike any of us on yours. You are our guest and as such should behave like one please. At the moment you are free to post. But I’m sure if your forum is as as well run as this one, you will be aware of its moderation options which I wouldn’t hesitate to use.
  9. The Ginger’s gone No hope for them at all now.
  10. The fixtures are out 6th July First game 31st August. First round of games 1st & 2nd Sept. Edit: Info here https://www.premiershiprugby.com/news/key-dates-over-the-2018-summer/
  11. Matt Taylor, Billy Bodin. Who is the next transfer window’s big cash cow? Or are they going to splash out and spend some of the money they got for them first? (Really need a flying pig emoji)
  12. They do realise that the 8000 of them would fit in just one of our stands with room to spare don’t they. It would be like the Lansdown cheering and the rest of us all quiet. Wow, just the notion that they think that is wonderful baffles me.
  13. Surely he has to be legendary for stomaching being there for that long.
  14. I just put this on the rebranding thread without seeing the above two posts, I think it’s more relevant here: During the paper review on bbc an hour ago the sports reporter mentioned our rebrand and showed one of the papers, didn’t see which one. They did say in Bristol there is a Bristol Bears Festival every year ( not personally heard of this) but it’s a gathering for Gay people, the presenters did have a joke and say there might be some confusion. #WhatHaveWeDone
  15. 13,000 plus I think, can’t remember exact number
  16. Nice to see Bristol playing without a care in the world tonight and finished on a high without the pressure. Quite sad to see a lot of players leaving but it was nice to say goodbye which we don’t ever get a chance to do to our football players.
  17. Yup you are right, it was down the other end and I’d fallen asleep by then.
  18. Hopefully, but it might be a stumble over the line not a leap. I know it was thought that Bristol would be celebrating promotion 2 home games ago.
  19. Got the win, just. Hard work tonight, Yorkshire were very negative and their players were down every two minutes with ‘injuries’ . Fair enough one player had to be stretchered off as he couldn’t walk, but apart from him I have never seen this cynical style so expertly executed. They came to stifle us and it almost worked. No tries scored by either team, small crowd given as 7778, not the greatest of evenings for Bristol Rugby but a win all the same, they all count, even ugly ones. I really though Yorkshire, who looked pretty devastated at the end, were going to nick the win though which would have been cruel.
  20. Chasing shadows, making the same errors over and over and coming up against a solid brick wall like defence. I was surprised we pulled the game back to as close as it was. That said our player was sin binned for an accidental clumsy collision when he was blinded by the sun at one point, at least that’s what it looked like from where I was sat. But to be fair it was as far away as it could be so I apologise if I saw it wrong.
  21. Mags gets the nod. Have we finished messing around with the RB position now then. And Paterson benched too.
