  1. I tried to make it pretty with the trees. Its bland inside and out. Dunno what it would be like on a bleak day

  3. Correct. On temple way. Soon sorted though. They got a replacement coach to them. They arrived at the services up near sheffield just before we left 15 mins ago. So they were about an hour behind us. We are about hour from Hull so they will make match.
  4. Can I please request that no further photos of this 'player' get added to this thread. He seriously turns my stomach. Thank you.
  5. I'm with you. We could attract some good players whilst we are riding high I think. I also don't want to get to April/May and rue not strengthening in January as we thought we could manage. We could only be one more injury from chucking this season away. Yes bringing in one or two could possibly upset the balance, that's where we have to do our homework. But I would rather have a player or two sitting on the sidelines than scrabbling around for replacements in our reserves like Preston as we thought we could get by.
  6. Just the point I was going to make to @Red_Wizard. The radio commentator said he could hear the national commentators being impressed with Bristol City towards the end of the match quoting they are saying 'that's why they are fourth in the table'.
  7. He also mentions Bury got Man City's old training ground, is that a heavy hint he wants something from us?
  8. Did they really sing that? That is just about the most despicable chant I have ever heard from anyone. As for the Fred West images, I can't imagine why they would want to be associated with him? He murdered and abused his own children amongst others, and ultimately was a coward and took no responsibility. Is that the image they want to portray? Yes it might be only one or two of their fans, but I'm sure if anyone at this club was to attempt to display anything half as distasteful some of our fans would put a stop to it and rightly so.
  9. Me too. He's got to leave them before he gets dragged deeper in their mess if he wants to go to another team on the back of his success of the past few seasons. But then again from our point of view let him stay as he's doing a perfect job
  10. He still got it. That goal must have been sweet for him
  11. We are singing and bouncing but to be fair Fulham are offering nothing only those cardboard clackers so to be fair i have experienced better atmosphere from us.
  12. Spoke to a few players afterwards and several commented the wind was 'sonething else'. So dont underestimate the difficulty they had playing our passing game. But that said there was no excuse for some of the weird balls played. I know its the same for both sides but Sunderland seems the windiest place on earth so they are used to their surroundings obviously.
  13. Just looked back at their results for September, they seem to get a few thrashings at home 0-4 for both Villa and Wolves and a 5-0 defeat at Leeds, but there are a couple of 0-0 away draws at Norwich and QPR which aren't too shabby either. Add the point they got from us last night and you can see how they try to play away from home. They won't get such a sympathetic (or perhaps pathetic) Ref again I don't think. As long as we go back and take 3 points when we visit them I think it will be justified. Im not happy we couldn't do a Leeds and break them, I'm not thinking our performance was great. We can play better, much better and will need to be able to counter these teams. But we have played the Bolton, Millwalls at home anyway. Not sure if there is another team who would play so cynical, maybe Warnocks lot against us?
  14. @Nibor, I won't quote your post but well said. Totally agree and I can feel the frustration of the players trying to play against that. They never had any intention to play and got a point the only way they can. Got to feel sorry for their fans watching that week in week out and clinging on to Championship status when they really shouldn't. Got to hope we got our psychologists working overtime as the players need to believe this isn't the start of a bad run. Bring on Leeds, at least they will come and play and make a game out of it.
  15. I thought they played better in a close game than they did in large parts of the last two home games in which they had a much greater points margin, which must seem an odd thing to say. That said I think they will take confidence and build from yesterday's result more than they would from beating the teams we have already played. The next home game is on Saturday, they have move the days and times a lot lately, but I'm already committed to do something else so sadly I cannot attend.
  16. I kid you not, lisa knights has the Downsey role for this match and shes making him look professional.
