Which for a guy who was out for 6 months is totally understandable. Manning has managed him well & hopefully before too long now he’ll be able to finish the full 90 & we’ll have Sykes available too.

BBC website has it on Monday 5th Feb. The only problem with saying that is Forest have a Prem game the day before at Bournemouth. We are at home to Leeds on the Friday before but are free in midweek until we travel to Boro on the Saturday. Going to be on Wednesday 7th, presumably?

I thought he was absolutely outstanding, his reading of the game was superb & his distribution is improving. I found the slagging off he got truly embarrassing, he’s made the leap from League Two, is someone never lacking in effort & whilst others are seemingly never fit, has already played loads of games for us.

Pring could probably do with a rest anyway, even though we can’t do without him. Williams is back for that one so just means TGH plays in the league games either side of it. That last bit wouldn’t leave us any better off, would it?

Mehmeti was excellent first half, him & Pring caused them loads of problems & resulted in 2 yellow cards. Not so good second half (he’s the epitome of inconsistent) but his recent performances have been really encouraging & certainly not pointless.

That is a lot to ask from a squad that is still thin on numbers. Joe Williams of course is back on Tuesday & hopefully Sykes & Atkinson are available before too long to add depth but when you look at tonight’s bench including Knight-Lebel, Backwell, Nelson, King & Bajic it is a tough ask on the others. Not optimistic we’ll bring in anyone else next week either.

Hell of a goal at Sunderland too. Apparently he really struggled with the relentless nature of English football & in Serie B he’s tended to play about 60 minutes once a week. At 6ft 6 & not shabby on the deck he was very good on his day, though.

Fair play to Yousef for giving it a positive review when it hasn’t even opened. This suggests one of two things; Yousef is a super optimist or he’s been asked/told to submit this because he’s in some way involved.
