"Arty-farty" ?....have you just emerged from a time tunnel from the 1950's?
Sort of - I live in one of those secret tunnels which gave safe access to AG on derby days. They've been out of use for so long that they've now been converted to trendy underground apartments.

I always enjoy your photos from Bristol City away games and no need to change anything as your attention to detail is superb.
That's something I can agree with! I think the photos give you the true fan experience, I'd much rather that than some quirky, arty-farty type photos. Please keep up the good work.

Haha, your memory’s better than mine if he did mate. I can’t even remember who scored for us. At the time I thought “what a comeback” but it dawned on me over the following weeks that United dropped several gears after the break.
Still, like you say, it was an enjoyable match to watch especially as all 6 goals were scored right in front of us in the East EndWatched that one from the Williams Stand (although it may still have been the Grand Stand back then!). From memory, Ferguson brought a full strength team, apart from Cantona - Chris Garland deserved nothing less.

My niece took her 8 year old daughter, who loves her football and plays in goal for a girls team in Keynsham. Needless to say, they're off the Christmas list.
Apparently they thoroughly enjoyed it as well! (said through gritted teeth)

Out of interest, what time do you arrive at the stadium to start taking the photos? I like the way that they've tried to bring some character to the bland exterior, with the large pictures of former players on the wall, also the league table on the wall in the club shop.

It's all well and good, but depression is awful and talking doesn't always help. I've had massive depression issues for years and tried to top myself a couple of times. I am depressed more than I am Okay. I don't have many friends, through my own doings, and ruined my life years ago. Don't look for pity but the reality is I hate living life so miserably, but I don't want to kill myself and don't want to bring more shame on my family by doing so. If people don't know what living with depression is like, I don't think they can even discuss it with people, its something you have to experience to understand. Only the other day I was DM'ing someone on Instagram, a 25yo girl who is successful, talented and always been there to talk to for me, and she was on about ended it all and needing to go to hospital to sort things. This is the crazy world we live in. I genuinely don't think I have any friends in the world, outside of family no one cares about me, I've messed up in life too many times to blame anyone but myself, but its life. But depression is a killer, I would say at least half the day I'm depressed, I've just got used to living with it.
Sorry to those people who have lost loved ones, never nice. Thoughts to those suffering.
You have explained depression very well. I still go to bed every night hoping that when I close my eyes, it will be for the last time. However, strange as it may sound, you have to be in the right frame of mind if you seriously intend to take your own life. At the moment I'm not in that place, not because there are good things in my life, but, well, just because, I suppose.

So would the 59 Geordies have bought their tickets from the BRFC site or pay on the day. If it's through the website then Rovers only sold 600 if it's pay on the day that would make 700 in that photo
No idea - I'm not one of those who forensically investigates attendance figures.

Their big away support is more than a myth! Last week we took 1050 to Crawley that's all they gave us but Gas only took 600 a few weeks earlier
You forgot to mention that you were there on a Saturday afternoon, and Rovers played them on a Tuesday evening.

They're definitely "odd".
Can't argue with that.
It certainly looks like less than 650 in that photo ( how dare anyone doubt the narrative? )
I guess the missing 200 are actually the ficticious 10,000 locked outside as per usual.
Oh yeh, and as for the 60 supposed geordies in the away end. The reality is they are as fictious as the notorious 10,000 . . . . or probably match stewards. But hey-ho who are we to doubt that fans of every club love the wonderful Woe-vers.
Yesterday's defeat was woe, woe and thrice woe for the miserable Blue Few.
Elliot Anderson's dad was celebrating his 50th birthday with some mates, hence the Geordie contingent in the away end. Local day out to see his son play, nothing more than that.

Let's see how they get on against a proper side, away to Nothants next week ! How did they get on against them in the p/o semis all those years ago ?
Please don't - I still have nightmares about that game!

Their best players are all loanees, always shirks me when that happens let alone a club like them. Would absolutely piss myself if Barton was found guilty next week, although saying that Wael would probably stick with him
So, you didn't enjoy the season that Tammy Abraham spent on loan at Ashton Gate then?

I don't think there were, although Uncle Ken wasn't allowed to switch it on at Stamford Bridge anyway.

Just a small update from me
Trigger Warnings a plenty.
I did a silly thing last night, after being overwhelmed by all of the stuff I've gone into recently .
I'm not depressed, but tired and exhausted and dont want to fight any more.
Fortunately passed out before could do any damage.
I'm safe, not actively going to repeat and will be monitoring stuff over the next few days.
Docs on Monday and then go from there tbh.
Xx
Be really honest with your Dr, they should be able to help. I'm glad that you feel it's something which you would not repeat, sounds like you are finding some strength to deal with your situation. Take care.

I hope the train companies have put on extra services for the huge Rovers support heading over the bridge for their big local derby.
They have - there's a football special for the return journey at 17.55

Felt sure it was moved to February, now people are saying April.
What's the world coming to, whenever I was arrested, I'd be up before the court and fined within days.
The case was postponed (back in October, I think), no idea why. As far as I know, it's this month, possibly 19th.

Saw it some time ago in one of the tiny galleried theatres in the old vic where you're very close to the actors - some people at ground level are a couple of metres from them at times. Quite intimate.
Dave Lloyd and Joe Sims are two of the actors so very "local."
It's the same set up in the Studio at The Old Vic - I was a bit worried in case one of the actors tripped over somebody's foot in the front row! The lad who plays Jordan, the young footballer, is also local, and was chosen via open casting - very talented too.

I've been to see this, and highly recommend it. Excellent performances by the three actors, the 90 minutes flew by.
