It isn't the first time over the last 2 or 3 years though is it, clearly Rovers have problems regarding Racism and aren't doing enough to stamp it out.

With regard to not doing enough to stamp it out, that is sometimes easier said than done when it is one individual shouting something. I know one of the people who heard it on Saturday, but on a packed terrace they were unable to identify exactly who the perpetrator was.  I guess that those stood immediately around him/her would have known, but maybe they were mates who shared the same mindset? With group racist chanting (which we obviously don't want) it is easier to identify those involved via cc tv at a later date, and take action.

Hopefully stewards will be told to be more aware, and there may be more self-policing from fans, as a lot of decent people are angry that this has reared it's head yet again.

Again?? It's about time the FA punished them for it now, how many times is that, 3?4?

The abuse came from individual people, and was reported by Rovers fans.  I think FA punishments are given for larger scale obscene chanting, which is reported by the referee, or another FA official at the game - not even sure they ever actually punished a club for racial chanting, they are an impotent authority at times.

There is no place for it on the terraces, or elsewhere, and I hope that the culprits are identified and suitably punished.

    Always the victim

I wouldn't devalue the word "victim" by attributing it to something as trivial as being on the wrong end of an admin error.  I'm not aware that anybody was harmed or killed because a couple of loan signings were ineligible to play.

Every single league club in the country has an idiot element we do i know. If 15ers believe they do not then that justifies their blinkered and complete nonsense view they have about themselves about being somehow unique and above the rest.

Of course we have an unsavoury element within our support, same as 99% of clubs, anybody who denies it is in cloud cuckoo land.

I think that just about everyone on here alluded to that !

It aint rocket science and I am astounded that your supporters haven't questioned it - well, not really astounded, just mildly surprised.

Anyway, whats going on - going bust ?

No idea where we go from here - maybe put up another tent and refurb Santa's Grotto?

So anyone from this side heard anything to back this up?

I realise UWE has looked like a dead duck for a while but anything regards the lack of cash and wanting out?

I think that KITR may have alluded to the supposed cash issues in the past?

A warning to the little 17 year old Idiots in FB09 VWF who were cruising around BS30 tonight looking for the odd gashead  to pick off shouting 'CSF'. There was a 40 year man behind said gashead who would happily educate you about the CSF as you have no idea what it is / was.

I'm no hoolie but you were an embarrassment!

Grow the **** up! You're a disgrace to my club.

Unfortunately we all have 'em - although very much in the minority, they've usually got the loudest mouths.

Companies house, tells you most things about any limited company dealings.

No wonder your owners have been mugging you lot off for the last 30 years, if you don't even know that their actions are easily checkable to anyone who so wishes.

Perhaps whilst there, you'd also like to take a look at Bristol sport ltd dealings and then tell us more about how "you are coming for us".

I do look at Companies House info and am registered to be notified of any changes, but I didn't find the things which Port Said Red mentioned specifically, that's why I asked for a pointer!

I have seen the charge taken out by Dwayne Sports, but it seems I have to take out a different registration to see the more detailed stuff - thanks to Port Said Red for the sensible, informative response!

On further investigation it appears that they "consider that no single person has overall control". This is fine but they have not filed this with HMRC.

Also Dwa(y)ne Sports has a parent company which is hiding behind the Jersey legislation.

Perhaps most worryingly for the few savvy sags is that Dwane Sports was given a £10m facility by their bank a year ago and they have already drawn on  £7.2m of it.

Being a total idiot with financial dealings, a couple of basic questions if you would be so kind as to enlighten me.

How do you find out that they have not filed the info with HMRC?

Where is the info regarding Dwane Sports having a parent company, and where can you see the info about their bank borrowings and spending?

Not doubting you at all, I'd just like to know how to keep track of these things myself!  Cheers.

Seriously, don't you sit there cringing with embarrassment, when you see quotes of the utter bollocks that your lot consistently state as fact..?

I'm genuinely amazed that you'd want to frequent a place that justifiably belittles your club and the (majority of) morons who follow it. No doubt, perfectly reasonable people in general, who get sucked into the "Gas logic" way of thinking and become deluded cretins.

If you can't laugh at yourself, then how can you laugh at anybody else?  Life's too short not to see the funny side at your own expense sometimes.

I missed the 5-1, I had a ticket but for some bizarre reason I chose to got to Rovers v Millwall , I did go to Hampden though and I'm pleased to confirm that Rangers really are truly woeful at the moment :)

I have no idea about Higgs actually. I'm pleased he has gone though. Wael comes across really well and things have looked better than they have in a long while. Having said that things can change drastically in football over a relatively short period of time, so you won't find me making any rash predictions about our future!

Higgs does still attend home games, often seen him bulldozing his way into the post-match traffic queues outside The Mem.

I doubt there will be any "carnage" whatsoever if results this weekend leave them already assured of a play off place.

Only you costing them a place will cause carnage, as I doubt any Millwall fans will want to miss play off games/Wembley, just for the sake of giving your horse punching, minibus butting, spaghetti dribbling morons a good kicking.

Hope you've got enough oxygen up there on the moral high ground.

Just seen the EP / BP headline of speculation of a stadium announcement after the Millwall game. Could be carnage all round!

They've written the article based on a Tweet from a bloke who is a total joke, and knows **** all about what's going on.

Millwall game will probably be carnage all round whatever happens, quite a few travelling down for a Saturday night in Bristol I believe.

  14. There were a couple of groups of Stone Island clad oiks about before and after the game. I reckon they were giving it one last big 'un before going into hiding.  They would crap themselves if they came within 20 feet of any real Millwall fans in a couple of weeks time.
