Sadly I have a growing feeling this squad aren't adaptable enough to a plan B

Completely agree with your second paragraph

Totally agree, though compared to another loan signing he's a world beater

On the basis the majority of the previous five pages are moaning it clearly suggests not, but your sad obsession of trying to troll me boringly continues

If you think my post was trolling, I suggest you get a thicker skin.

POTS = Rob Dickie (by a mile)

YPOTS = Tommy Conway (not a lot of choice)

Champagne Moment = The complete evisceration of the club's hierarchy and their lack of clarity by @Ron W on Sky Sports*

*If everyone could vote for this as Champagne Moment the penny might finally drop

There’s no chance the Trust would publish the results of the champagne moment if it was controversial.

IIRC Mark Ashton leaving won it before but the award was quietly forgotten about.

    TransferRoom.

Its how we “swiped right” with Bajic.

(I had to Google the swipe direction)

We all know Tinnion is as thick as dog shit. It’s quite possible Tinnion doesn’t know his left from his right and signed him by mistake.

Would argue James has made as much if not more difference? James, Knight and Twine is a nice midfield 3.

Shame 2/3s of that midfield won’t be here next year.

I'm not sure we're any worse, but it's unusual for any Manager to inherit someone else's squad and improves them

Even you have to agree his triple change at half time has been a master stroke?

You were about the fourth person to repeat something that had been explained

Reading such negative messages on here is tiresome.

    Don’t read it then.

Ian would be a brave boy to go down that route this early on after one game  😂

Only have to look at his Twitter, he likes deleting his tweets but he can’t delete his the episode.

Wasn't it more along the lines of "If you want to get rid of the bloke, fine - but do it now. But personally, I would keep him"

    not from what I remember.

It’s the best long form football content in the world atm. Nothing comes close

It’s a brilliant watch on YouTube.

I could watch the ‘unscripted’ bit before it actually starts for hours. I have quite enjoyed the last two without Jamie Carragher.

It's a bit odd, and at times like this any little thing can be jumped on for laughs at the clubs expense but I'm not massively furious at us helping Zak out with some t-shirts.

I'm also really fed up with Fever Pitch. If that is what Jon wants to do then he should go and do it. Resign from the NINE City/Bears/BS boards that he's on and go and devote his time and attention to what he clearly actually wants to do. He could stay on as an observer on our boards if Steve needs "eyes on the ground", but get away from a body making decisions that you're clearly not investing full time and energy in.

I imagine all the contracts between City and Fever Pitch are properly negotiated at arms length and the Board do market research to make sure they're getting the best value for money...right?

I don’t think Fever Pitch are an actual company. I think they are essentially a department within Bristol Sport, made to look like it’s our agency to make Jon feel better about himself.

I do wonder who is actually making this product, would it still be O’Neils?

That’s good. It’s obvious that Walker and almost definitely Maguire will be in the squad, so makes sense to try Lewis. He’s got great potential so would rather have him in the squad ahead of lots of the filler players Southgate insists on calling up.

I see the Trafford the Burnley keeper has been bought in too, who they signed from Man City. Being at Burnley will skew it a bit, but he’s supposed to be very good isn’t he?

He’s generally been awful in the PL whenever I’ve seen him. He looks weak and teams just get a big man next to him and pop the ball in there.

Hes still very young for a keeper. I thinks he’s gone up the leagues too quickly (LG1 to PL). I guess as he’s already around the camp, it makes sense to bring him to have a better look.

Hmmmm. Have you had a whisper about Scott Davidson coming back on board?  He had a passion for the club rather than the money.

Would he have the funds? Football is a bigger beast from when he was last involved.

A really entertaining episode thank you.

As respected as a journalist Latham may be his views on Lansdown and Manning were certainly not aligned with mine. Manning may well be “a lovely guy” but that doesn’t make him a competent Championship manager or coach.

Whilst he slightly challenged the lack of investment from the Scott sale the lack of any analysis of Lansdown’s failure was a bit jarring. Trying to back Lansdown with a “where would City be without the Lansdowns?” and that we’d be like the Gas was odd. Who knows where we’d be without them, we may well be doing better not necessarily worse. Calling out the “be careful what you wish for” line was also eye rolling; again, it doesn’t mean it will be worse than it is now. The only fact here is we won’t know until it happens.

His statement that “Brian Tinnion is the most important person at the club” was rather concerning too!

A lack of reviewing a perspective of Lansdown being a huge part of the problem was really surprising; as was Chris Honour broadly going along with Latham’s statements.

As a comparison, Piercy did a superb job of giving a balanced assessment on last weeks SOTC.

The host (David) did a good job of challenging the alternative perceptions though, well done!

They weren’t even aligned with his own views.

Doesnt like having a director of football in post….Tinnion is the most important person at the club.

Doesnt like the sideways/backwards passing, wants 442….would be happy if Manning is here in 3 years.

The bloke is well post it and should have retired a while ago, or at least moved with the times.
