A nice one on the Radcliffe road from memory, beginning with A, Amici Bar or something like that! Apparently a really nice family feel to it

I wouldn’t advise in this window. They keep the windows and doors open all year round…

And just so we get everything in context, Nige chose the wing backs and form regressed. OTIB was full on criticising the formation, and eventually Nige changed it, and form improved. So this has all happened before.

He was quoted as saying he stuck with 3 CBs until he had the right players to be defensively sound. I think we have been defensively fine this season playing a 4. I just don’t see why we’ve gone with a 3 when we have 2 fit CBs and having to play Sam Bell at RWB.

Never pointless to loan as Tammy and Matt Smith proved in the past , never likely to sign either, also looks like he plays on the other side to Mehmeti.

Lets hope he does well , certainly has pace and had something for sure at Man City

I mean pointless in the context of our season going no where.

This place has been like an alternative universe ever since Pearson went.

Away from OTIB, so far as I could tell the main response to Pearson leaving was "That's a shame, I quite liked him. However, he's had a fair crack of the whip and we don't really look like going anywhere so why not try something new?" among City supporting friends and people around me in the stadiumat least. On here it was akin to people thinking the Lansdowns had cackled evilly as their 25 year plan to deny City certain promotion to the Premier League came to fruition.

The next thing that happened was people took everything said by the club hierarchy in the aftermath seriously! People in football bullshit all the time, but when the people here said we had a squad capable of challenging for promotion it was suddenly all deliberately made up lies to be used against them for years to come when in reality don't most clubs hope they have a squad capable of challenging? What would be the point otherwise unless you are a seriously small fish in a big pond? Somehow this then dragged Brian Tinnion into the axis of evil at the head of our club.

It is still a rare thread on here that doesn't include people complaining still about Pearson leaving, or cynically referring to our team as a 'top 6 squad'. It's tedious and unfortunately shows no signs of diminishing as the groupthink still holds sway in here.

Are you saying when the people who run the club came out and say things, we should just ignore it because they bullshit? And that’s okay?

not for me. I’d rather to hold them to account.

  5. I like his strength and his power. However I’m looking to see what he can actually do on the ball. So far, there actually haven’t been evidence of quality on the ball, with passes, crosses or goal threat.

Well played, every man jack of you. Proud of the lot of you tonight, coaches included. Completely dominant, modern and progressive. Front foot football !

There’s was lots to like but it’s not even the best we’ve played this season.

I cannot for the life of me believe that when the club has the 'temerity' to celebrate its FA Cup giantkilling of Liverpool, at Anfield in 1994 its referred to as 'tinpot'. Unfortunately, our beloved club hasn't had much to shout about during the modern era, meaning these memories are special and should be given the respect they deserve. Some of you need to learn your City history, or better still, get a life.

you could accept people have a different view to you, or better still, get a life.

Roy had to lean in closer to read what club name was on our badge. As it looks like about 4 other club’s badges and he probably never played against us in his career, that’s understandable.

I bet Roy watches more Champ games than the other 3 combined. He says he watched our game against Preston.
