Side note, standard that city fans are finding anything to complain about, tickets being sold a good £10 cheaper then usual potd prices but complaining because they pay cheaper for somewhere else in the ground which they've been refunded for ? Having a ST has essentially given you access to purchasing the tickets where all other City fans can't all for making an upfront purchase which you're being refunded as we've gone along.

But they are not POTD prices, they are pre purchased tickets. That being said I'm sure the club is struggling and I don't particularly care about the additional cost or the way they are doing it (although it seems crazy from my perspective) it's the rules and lack of interaction that rules me out.

  2. So just to check I have this right. The club understandably won't let me sit in my season ticket seat so is going to refund me. If I actually want to go to what sounds like the most draconian game of football that would make North Korea look free and democratic then I have to take my refund money plus some more and pay for a ticket to game I have already paid for and been refunded for.

I kind of sympathise with the club but it seems crazy and "rules" mean its a no from me.

We aren't going to be allowed back unrestricted this season so they might as well refund the whole season tick money and be done with it.

I was at Taunton v Wantage tonight in the fa cup, a crowd of 353, ( they are allowed a maximum of 600) no issues at all, people social distancing and plenty of stewards policing this.

As long as people are sensible, I really can’t see why grounds cannot be open for fans at all levels with 20% of the capacity allowed to watch.

I went as well, clearly works in smaller crowds. The logic of stopping something like that but saying it's ok to sit in the pub for 12 hours getting shitfaced is beyond me.

Were talking about something that reached 4k+ new cases and killed 11 people yesterday and were impinging on people's freedom because of that, since when has the ends of saving everyone justified the means of taking away people's freedom's. Have I completely missed the point? I think the government need to explain this a lot better.

Can't see the logic in cancelling the season with 37 games played. We need to start the new season as usual in August if we can. Completing this season is pointless now - if we went back and completed those 9 games it would effectively give us 2 'pre season' breaks in 3/4 months. This season should be declared complete and top 3 go up and bottom 4 go down. What's wrong with that? Who could complain?

My thought is that the only way we can start the new season in August is to cancel this season.

By the time we have been given the all clear most players contracts will be finishing (so problem to solve), then given 4 weeks of fitness training, play the 12 games through the middle of the summer (so probably restricted to evenings), then give the players a few weeks off to sort out contracts have a holiday ect, then back for pre season. All that is about 4 months so would be a struggle if we started now.

There's no fair way of doing it - all the slow pondering football we had been playing all season might have been leading up to and energetic finish, every team has now been able to rest. Leeds for example would normally run out of steam about now but have had chance to rest.

If we decide to postpone the start of next season then we impact that season as well which means we then have another season that's not quite right.

  5. There are loads of things that it depends on that could be different between the football and rugby or Leeds and City. It could be that we insure our players contracts so they are effectively being paid by insurance now, we could have a furlough option to pay 20% in certain circumstances like this and that is already enacted, things that make up the full package such as cars are difficult to take away and just damage the local economy rather supporting the jobs at local dealerships.

I was working this game yesterday and present at all of this disorder. It was probably one of the most violent football disorders I have been involved for a number of years.

i am very very happy that the dogs were present, without them there would have no doubt been considerably more disorder and injuries to police officers. I will be sending them a box of bonios with thanks!!!

i am continuing reviewing footage and will identify any offenders who have been caught committing offences.

we have released a statement and are keen to point out this is a very small minority of so called fans, I am hopeful for further arrests from both sides once footage has been reviewed.

Sounds like a challenge to our lads. ?

Seeing as the capacity of Stamford Bridge is 41,000 and the capacity of the mem is 11,000 I'm going to call bullshit.

Then again after seeing your other thread tonight I'm pretty sure you're on a wind up.

old rosie is a nice way to forget about a few hours/the world/keeping control of normal bodily functions though.

I agree it can be done and I'd like us to do it the same way if possible.

We need something more than these clubs can offer better facilities better staff that support them - this would be better than spending £9m on someone like Gray. Splashing money around on players by itself is no good if we cant offer something marketabley better to people that already have too much money.

  9. Reading their forum was a giggle, trying to think why we love each other so much.

    Play offs they failed at

THAT goal that was, but wasnt

Carle being offloaded for a cool £1m

Carle fighting with McIndoe after the match

Money they owed us for Carle and didnt pay untill SL threated leagal action

Tango man fearing for his life at AG while smoking outside ground

Colin being such a poor loser, unable to give us credit for any win

    Any more?

To be fair to Colin he did praise us whole heartedly after beating them in the playoff semi at our place. I think he has bitched about every other game though.
