Ha ha. I don't know anyone who has ever said they Korey is a better ballplayer than Pack.
What that stat shows is that Korey has made 15 more successful passes in an extra 280 minutes of football! If you wanna go like for like I'm confident Pack would complete 15 passes in over 3 games.

Apart from when he thinks he is Steven Gerrard and tries spraying 50 yard cross field balls which he is pony at...but other than that he is tidy!
Doesn't try it as much as under Cotterill. But the reason he was under instruction from Cotterill to do it 28 times per game was because Cotterill knew he was very capable of doing it as he's the best ball-player in the squad.
Not sure how Mr RedDave can argue against that.

He can tackle for sure. Need a lot more at this level Harry
You mean aside from him being the best passer of the football in the whole squad yeah?

Unlike @RedDave to talk a load of shit, Harry!
I know. Even I, as one of Pack's biggest advocates, fully acknowledge that he's not had a great last 3 games. But his previous 50 or so saw him as our most consistent performer. Amazing how quickly opinion turns these days.
For the record, I think his recent poor outings are down to 2 reasons :
1) he's someone who needs a run of games. He's never very influential off the bench as he's the type who feels his way into games. Certainly no supersub and he tends to lose form when he's in and out of the team.
2) he and Brownhill are not a good partnership. Smith & Pack work well together. Brownhill & Pack don't.
Anyway, for people to say Pack isn't a very good 3rd choice midfielder, after being our most consistent one for 2 seasons at this level is frankly laughable.

Pack is so bad at football
I know right. Coz his superb tackle didn't just change the momentum of this game, where he stopped a counter attack, we go up the other end, Flint should score immediately and then from the continued pressure we do score.
But I'm sure you won't acknowledge Pack's important role in that goal.

Pack given the ball away twice in a matter of minutes with sloppy passes... useless lump
Brownhill just did as well. Are you going to be consistent in your criticism?

"Better Red than Green with Envy..." - the best banner I've ever seen hanging from an M4 bridge when the blue few made their way back from a Wembley defeat in which they wore green! Class!
Ah, the infamous Frenchay orange banner.
Remember this one? First outing of the KLF.

That 2nd half was as crazy a game of football I've witnessed in a long time.
Whilst we battled well, make no mistake, we got lucky tonight. Outplayed thoroughly in the 1st half. 2nd half was pure madness. Every time we made a mistake in the middle or in their half they attacked so quickly and piled crosses in. We rode out luck massively at times.
Was actually stunning when we took the lead. I was actually laughing more than screaming when we scored. It was that unbelievable that we went ahead.
What surprised me the most was at 3-3 I'm thinking "hold on. A point here is great", and then I see Korey of all people bursting forward and vacating the midfield at every opportunity. We wanted the 3 points even though we rode our luck so much.
Crazy half of football. Whilst outplayed and terribly fortunate, we did actually deserve the point through our tenacity, energy and desire.

This line up. Whilst I don't think Vyner is anywhere near championship 1st team level, he is in our squad as the back-up right back, so if Pisano is injured then he's next man up. I'd rather this than moving others to unfamiliar positions.
However, I'm not happy with dropping Pack. Our most consistent performer for 2 years now. And if you watch each of the 90 mins back again on BCTV you'll see what an absolute shift he's already put in this season. Smith has been quite frankly awful this season. If LJ wants Brownhill central its Smith who should be dropped.

Not wishing to praise them at all, but Tom Nicholls will be a bloody decent signing for them.
Must admit, I'm surprised.

Tammy should have stayed on with Taylor coming on. They have scored a few goals between them.
You were saying?
Only joking, Glad the change has worked (and I'm no fan of LJ by the way, but he made a bloody brave call here).

What a way to get sacked you clueless imbecile
Can't agree with that.
Tomlin had an absolute shocker and needed to be taken off.
The Tammy change can be questioned, but to bring a new strikeforce on and go 2 up top should not be questioned, as it is what pretty much everyone wanted.- 2

At Portman Road. This shape is SO much better. Game is being played further into their half, we have 4-5 players in their half whenever we get the ball. Amazing the self belief when you play a competitive formation.
Yes. Despite a few nay-sayers earlier in the thread, I feel this is the best team we could put out today. A change to 4-4-2, Golbourne back in at LB, a central midfield who can both control and pass as well as hustle, and 2 skillful wingers. Hopefully these changes bring about a better style and shape.

So what exactly was he doing or saying? What I'll say is, he's never acted directly towards me in a negative fashion. So don't think that this is a personal dig at the chap.
But when I have seen him out in Bristol at a shop/club/ venue the phrase "big man on campus" is immediately obvious. Or should that be "big time Charlie"?
Now, some will be saying if this was after our promotion then so be it, he has the right to demand the adulation of the common folk around him. But this stretches back to his first season with us sadly.

Fair do's Jim. Intrigued now to know more detail on your experiences. From what I understood he was a very down to earth bloke (this from many I know at Cheltenham). Be interesting to hear your side of the story and what you've witnessed.Having seen him numerous times out in Bristol, I can only disagree with you Harry.
