Our passing/final ball is absolutely shocking.......

If I had a choice on current form (at least 6 weeks) I'd choose Cornick over Sam Bell any day of the week. Not sure what position is Sam's best. Not a winger, not a CF and currently it's like playing with 10 men.

Kal and Nahki definitely not impressed with the performance....Max's kicking a big talking point.

Would love to see the stats on how many times we've just given possession back to Blackburn....ball retention is abysmal. Bell is NOT a bloody winger.

To be honest LM has taken over a squad with the identical problems that NP was contending with...... same players,same injuries and being massively inconsistent. We have the occasional game where we build our hopes up only to be dashed the following week. It's a mess that changing the manager was not going to solve anything.

That's bang on the money. Just because some are 'local' lads I think they get an easier time than some of the usual scapegoats.

Any player would look isolated working in tandem with Weimann. He makes it impossible for Tanner to pass to him because of the position he takes up. He was again today very poor and him losing a ball that he could easily have passed led ultimately to the goal. If Sykes wasn't injured then to take him off and keeping Weimann on was such a strange decision. Probably 4 or 5 players needed in the transfer window and I'm not too worried about it being loans either. We can't keep using the same players and expect anything different.

Most people must surely realise that our current squad is lower to mid table. We're competitive up to a point but never going to trouble the top 6. CF and a creative midfielder.

That corner sums up the 2nd half completely....

I feel sorry for Tanner having Weimann on his side, he just runs into areas that means Tanner can never really pass to him. Sykes coming off and Weimann staying on was a very strange decision.

We need to use the loan market in January not worry too much about a permanent signing. There will be players available to get and we have a decent record of bringing the best out of them over the years.

I didn't take the chance tonight so decided I'd watch on Saints TV....

I watched on Saints TV.....I thought Toby was bad but jeez, Dean Hammond was bloody awful and was watching a completely different game to what I was. City commentary is usually so bad that at times it's embarrassing.

The weakness upfront is the reason we'll probably finish bottom half. Get a decent striker in (buy/loan) and we could be good for top 10. We had some great scoreable chances 1st half and didn't capitalise on it.

Watching this tonight only confirms our need for a quality striker.....if we can get one we'd definitely be a better side than we are now. A good striker would have got us a couple in the 1st half that our football deserved.

What is it with us and continued poor passing. The number of times we've just given the ball away is bloody awful.

If you think that was bad then you must have missed quite a few games this season......

I think one of our biggest problems is our passing ability. The number of times we gave away possession was criminal, especially when trying to get forward on the break.

Back to bloody pantomime defending.......awful.

Football on another level......absolutely brilliant

Mehmeti must be bloody good in training to get a starting place. The FB marking him was poor but had AM in his pocket most of the afternoon. One of his problems is that he lacks pace so very rarely goes past his marker.

The QPR winger does everything that Mehmeti should be doing. Head up, not frightened of going wide and having a go at Pring. Mehmeti permanently coming backwards possibly because he lacks the pace to get past his fb....we have no threat upfront at all.

I'd say it was a great reaction save, it wasn't as if it had just hit him.

I wouldn't want to watch it again......it was 3 points, that's it. Apart from a bright start in both half's the rest of the game was awful. As for crisp passing.....wow.
