Looking like we played a game this morning......

This is a bloody hard watch....

I think we look a bit flat. Tommy struggling to get anything out of Diaby and Sykes needs to have a go getting to the byline, permanently going back slows us up....

I'd go for that.

I just can't see where the goals are coming from. For all the decent play today we never looked like scoring from open play.

We had a chance of a point at 0-0 but just can't see where the goals are coming from when we go behind. From open play our chance creation/finishing is bloody low.

All comes from needlessly giving the ball away stupidly.....no danger, now 1-0 down.

Bloody hell Max that was poor....ball coming right at you, catch it.

Have you had more than 2 consecutive passes? Shocking so far.

Really hope I eat humble pie over my post but from what I've seen so far he just doesn't cut it for me......cue Mehmeti has a couple of blinders.

Just don't think he's championship quality sadly. Hasn't got real pace, crossing poor together with decision making. League 1 at best.

Generally his all round game today has been very poor especially his passing.

I feel Joe Williams has every right to be pissed off as Sykes has been bloody awful today.

Agreed, but defending as bad as that is mid to lower end of the table form...

Defensively sound and we were very hard to break down. We won the ball back frequently but some of our passing was dreadful when we had some possession. With a bit more composure in good positions we could have done some damage.

I would have taken a point with 15 to go.......then Cornick missed the best chance of the game.

When I used to go to the gate I named our fans the "10 second chanters"...... Very rarely heard one last longer.

Beyond bloody awful.......stealing a living.

Imagine if we had a decent finisher of goals to chances......

I watched the game yesterday and this montage of play sums up the performance. I really can't take any positives from such an abject display. It also highlights that possession stats mean absolutely nothing..... Brum allowed us to have the ball without any worries that we could hurt them and just waited until the inevitable bad pass handed them the ball back. We were poor from 1-11.

We definitely need someone upfront that is capable of being able to beat a defender in the air. We hit so many hopeful balls in the air directed at small forwards and very rarely get a chance from a knockdown.

So want him to be successful but he's a sub at best for me. Long throws aside I genuinely struggle to see what he gives us as a starter. Honestly feel that he's Lg 1 at best.
