We definitely need someone upfront that is capable of being able to beat a defender in the air. We hit so many hopeful balls in the air directed at small forwards and very rarely get a chance from a knockdown.

So want him to be successful but he's a sub at best for me. Long throws aside I genuinely struggle to see what he gives us as a starter. Honestly feel that he's Lg 1 at best.

We're not going to be scoring many goals with our current crop of forwards....just a pity Conway isn't available for a few months.

I felt such a lot of optimism last week against a poor Millwall side but that has completely evaporated today. Forwards and midfield have been poor but defence has been okay. We need a midfielder who's able to create and a forward that looks like he can score with a decent ratio to chances created. At the moment our current forwards win nothing in the air so living off scraps that they get. For a home performance with a decent crowd it's been a bloody hard watch. The blues commentators favourite words today..... Bristol City with another hopeful/poor ball into the box.

Birmingham looking half decent tbf but we're looking devoid of ideas.....Bell had 3 opportunities on the trot to cross early but tried to cut back onto his right allowing the tackle with forwards waiting for the early cross.

We seem to carry very little threat though Fevs. Mehmeti can't beat his man and yet to see Cornick do it either. Defensively sound but toothless up front.

Very poor first half. Forwards non existent and Max is starting to really worry me. Terrible early distribution, kicking and throwing and not getting near the ball with his attempted punch. I so want Cornick to be successful but he just doesn't cut it for me,and Bell isn't a centre forward. Has Mehmeti forgotten how to go round or past a player?

As good as Burnley are we're certainly giving them a helping hand with our passing and poor ball retention.

On what I've seen of SU this season they will need almost a completely new team. With this team they could probably break the lowest points total.

Agree with all points apart from the first one. They're nowhere near a prem quality side and the reason they are where they are is because they are not even top championship material. On another day we'd have won that and be saying how poor they are.....

He's bloody awful. Not just a happy clapper but sounds a bit clueless and makes so many silly comments.

Bell needs to go on loan to a decent Lg1 side but not a struggling one. He's not ready for championship football but with a season long loan at a decent team could see him get some valuable experience and if he starts knocking the goals in could come back as a stronger player in all aspects of his game.

Not going mad at all... We're Bristol City and it wouldn't be right to fill you with optimism after a brilliant start to 2023. Because of the injuries to key players and Semenyo going we are just showing that we're just a lower to midtable side that won't go down (hopefully) and are a fair way off threatening the top 6.

Toby on commentary is bloody awful. Did he win be a commentator for a year in a raffle? He's ruined most games this this season...

Cornick is not an out ball.... His hold up play is poor as is his passing. I've yet to see him actually get involved in any game so far.

Usually agree with a lot you say but he's been poor all game, I haven't seen him have a good one yet.
