QPR away is actually one of my favourite ones, really looking forward to it. Also inclusive in the fact that we always do alright there.

Apart from the complete absence of legroom for my 29" stilt-like limbs

Very enjoyable Monday night of entertainment. Name me a more painful club to support than Spurs. Everything goes tits up.

FFS - Bristol City. Stockport. Scunthorpe. Bolton. Sunderland. Bradford. The list goes on...

Cry me a river, Spurs apologists.

    Not Nige's view.

He's stated he wants a squad so competitive that every player is under constant pressure to perform to keep his place.

I meant pressure in terms of results

It can indeed.  It can also open up passing infield, driving infield too.  Pros and cons I guess.

    Ahem...Paolo Maldini...

He’s just come back from a long term knee injury. We’ve got nothing to play for. Why rush him back and risk it?
I don’t think there’s any more to it than that.

This. Might as well let him get fully fit and come back firing next season. He's still young, and GT will benefit from minutes without pressure.

  5. I think he suffered from the lack of recruitment, they needed a striker and a 'keeper. Ward was a long-standing number 2, and proved to be an absolute number 2. Too much reliance on Vardy's goals down the years, covered their deficiencies. However, some very good signings along the way. Feel a bit sorry for Foxes fans.

Not really.....they are just a big club who demand success....that doesn't make them a basket case.

Their procurement strategy is nuts, their squad is out of control, there's no strategy...Tuchel was good enough for Bayern, but not Chelsea? Madness

Spelling, punctuation and grammar are so important.  It could mean the difference between knowing your shit and knowing you're shit....or between helping your Uncle Jack off a horse or helping your uncle jack off a horse!

Makes a change from the usual "'Panda: eats shoots and leaves versus 'Panda: eats, shoots and leaves'" ?

Always lively against Plymouth, I’ve always got the impression they care about us more than we do about them though. Wouldn’t class games against them as derbies as such but they always have a bit of needle about them certainly off the pitch aswell as on it..

It's odd, you'd think they'd be more focused on Exeter. Mind you, it's miles from Plymouth to anywhere.

I recall it being a bit of a dump, although that was a while back...

Without playing this week promotion looking nearer ,Sheff Wed have picked up 2 points in 4 games Barnsley beat at Exeter.

They have only one team in the top half to play,in the top two all season deserve to go up.

Have sold 38.000 for Wembley on Sunday. (Nearly Gas levels) Similar season to us in 2015.

I for one would welcome them back, always enjoyed the atmosphere in games against them. Have to say tho i lived in Devon for many years and had mates that supported them. Might not appeal to most on here.

I thought the Slags locked that many out each week?

Definitely Coventry, I went there about 6 times (from the ‘70s onwards and never seen us lose until that came crashing down last season, I think they also beat us 5-4 when they played at another ground, Northampton?

They did, and it was. (Bristol) City fans outnumbered their mob, we went 3-0 down, then got it back to 3-3, fell behind again, equalised again. Then lost to a goal from some ex-Gas ***.

Getting to the Championship wasn't the issue, it was the short termist planning of GJ with his transfers that probably set them back a few years

    That seems familiar somehow

They’re not finished yet, but results in the National League tonight mean Yeovil slip into the relegation places and they’re in dreadful form.

Wasn’t so long ago they were a division above us, and competing against us regularly. Could be having local derbies against Taunton and Bath next year. Although, some might say that’s their natural level for most of their history.

Spare also a thought for Scunthorpe Utd who definitely do look finished and relegated to the NL North. Another side who we competed with not so very long ago - beating us to the 2007 League 1 title.

Plus they have to put up with Grimsby being back in the League.

    And...live in a Scunthorpe.

In a nutshell HNM will occasionally have a very good game but for us he was nothing more than average overall.
I wish him well in his career as he seems a nice enough lad so good luck to him, am i bothered he’s gone? Not one bit

I wonder if HNM was a bit like Nagy - a good player, but in the wrong country to show it.
